Another Broken Egg cracks Southside

Another Broken Egg Cafe, the Miramar Beach-based breakfast-lunch chain, is preparing to open in Tapestry Park near Jacksonville's Tinseltown area in Southside.
The sit-down casual dining café specializes in breakfast, brunch and lunch.

Owner Cojak Investments of Lake Mary LLC applied for a building permit for a $220,000 interior remodel at 4828 Deer Lake Drive W., No. 9.

Franchise owner Jake Alleman said it should open in August. It will have 154 seats. He said three more sites are in review.

I believe this is in the same building as Your Pie.  It should do well in that area especially since it is within walking distance of two hotels and the many residents of Tapestry Park.

I kind of wish it was going into the end space across from Corner Bistro next to Flame Broiler.  I think that would be a really neat restaurant space.
