Let's get some food trucks in Murray Hill!
Let's get an arts market in M/H!
Let's get a farmers market in M/H!
Let's get more people to our little town center!
Murray Hill needs to hurry up and grow just like the other surrounding neighborhoods.

Let's talk about how to make our neighborhood well known!

These are some things that are new to M/H!

Community Loaves has expaneded their store. Their store front is now open! Isn't that exciting?
Their selections of breads is incredible. They also have amazing pizza! The girls that own the store are very friendly!

Knead bakeshop opens up in May which is another exciting event that will be happening in M/H!
We don't have to travel to Stockton anymore for those baked goods :)

Right now I think of it as the southernmost block of edgewood anchored by Moon River Pizza.

^That's the historical "town center". However, it's really all of Edgewood between US 17 and I-10.

Yeah, but right now I feel like there isn't enough connectivity to that whole corridor.

PM, the streetscape is what really impacts it negatively from a visual and mental perspective.  Put wider sidewalks and shade trees on Edgewood and it would immediately feel more cohesive and connected. One thing I noticed in Chattanooga last week is this. There's surface parking lots all over their downtown but the sidewalks are heavily shaded, making walking still worthwhile.

Yeah, that's true. Murray Hill isn't San Marco, but imagine that streetscape from San Marco Blvd transported to Edgewood (with better shading of course, lol)

What has happened to all of the streetscape/town center projects? Is it just a matter of funding delaying the studies from being implemented?

It would be awesome if there was more landscaping to connect the Murray hill theater area to the moon river area. Its almost like there are two little town centers. I think a landscaped median would fix that problem.

The historic bike tour sounds amazing!

Councilman Jones is working to fix Cassat Avenue before he and Love work on Edgewood with Murray Hill.

With this logic, I guess Town Center in Avondale runs from the S-curve down to St. Vincent's along St. Johns Avenue?

^It would if there were commercial storefronts lining it.

Edgewood desperately needs better sidewalks and shade trees. Perhaps attractive brinks.

If only there was a way to get those items into M/Hill
