Neighbor who heard screaming called Jacksonville police to break up home invasion

A man who called 911 to report a beating next door at his Jacksonville duplex said his 63-year-old neighbor was smashed in the mouth with an ashtray in an early-morning attack police had to break up.
Willie Johnson said he heard sounds "like furniture turning over" about 2 a.m. Thursday and his neighbor in the 2500 block of Post Street crying out for help.

I live near Cherry St and Olga and my upstairs neighbor and his wife were held up at gun point and robbed in front of their apartment three weeks ago. The guy even tried to make his way into their apartment but my neighbors managed to get free. Anyways, they have since moved to Fleming Island. I sent him a link to this news story about 30 minutes ago and he said it was indeed the same guy. I'm glad that jerk is off the streets.
