Bold Bean Coffee Roasters expanding to Jacksonville Beach

Bold Bean will be opening a new location in Jax Beach.

Bold Bean Coffee Roasters is moving to the beach — into, ironically enough, a former Starbucks location.

The principals of the Riverside coffee shop and roasting facility have signed a lease for the former Starbucks space in Jacksonville Beach at 2400 Third St. S., co-owner Jay Burnett said Thursday.

I thought I've heard a rumor they were coming to Edgewood Avenue in Murray Hill something within a year.

Though, rumors are rumors for a reason. lol

The Murray Hill location is going to be a roasting facility with limited service, not a cafe.  That is still happening, as well as expansion of the Stockton St location (I believe these are both mentioned in the linked article).

Spring Park Coffee in Green Cove Springs is also in a former Starbucks location - love it.  Not confirmed, but I'm hearing that another coffeehouse/roaster is (may) be underway at the corner of 17 & Kingsley in Orange Park (old Sarnelli location) - was really hoping that was Bold Bean or Spring Park....
