Anyone have ATT Uverse TV in Riverside?

Every few months I check, but it's never available to me. Does anyone in the Riverside area have it? I'm not sure if it will ever be available.

I'm just so tired of Comcast. When it works, it's great service, but anytime I make a change (like upgrading to Digital Preferred during college football season, downgrading when season is over) it's never seamless and causes problems which always require multiple phone calls.

Not in riverside but just my personal experience as I switched from Comcast to uverse in May. I am counting the days to return to Comcast.  For me I watch a ton of sports on HDTV.  The picture comparison for me is much, much, much worse on Uverse, especially on non Espn stations.  Espn stations are pretty good but still not as good as I received on comcast.

There's plenty of people on my street with U-verse judging from all the 2WIRE wireless networks. Never considered it myself since Internet speeds are a joke compared to Comcast, and you can't own your own modem.

I'm on Herschel near 5 points and have had Uverse for probably 3 years or more.  My understanding was that when they first made it available it was only for south of Park st but I assumed they had expanded to the whole neighborhood by now.  Now that Comcast has Xfinity, its basically the same thing since it has DVR built in.  Comcast didn't have the DVR option until a couple of years ago.  I left Comcast bc of their complete ineptitude at all levels.

Funniest story ever...waited all afternoon for a Comcast tech but they ended up sending someone from Clay county.  Had no idea where Riverside was, gave her block by block directions over the phone and when she arrived, she stepped out of the car, looked up at the wires on the pole and said "Oh, this is overhead.  I can't do overhead".  She was apparently coming from Oakleaf or some other Mcneighborhood with no ladder and assumed it was all underground utilities.  Really!?!?

The wireless TV gimmick keeps me on UVERSE because of my mancave in the garage. The internet speeds are improving,  but they're not near comcast's standards. 10-20 mbps down is fine for what most people need to do.

Their customer service is pretty solid in my experience. Surprised they haven't expanded to all of Riverside yet .
