Great interview!  Just a tip though, should always include the address and hours of a restaurant.
So I said to him: Arthur, Artie come on, why does the salesman have to die? Change the title; The life of a salesman. That's what people want to see.

I don't know if I agree. It may be good for us to hunt for food on some level.

Does nayone have anopinion on where Epik burger or M Shack is better? I saw the new M Shack open in San marco last week.

camarocane

Epik is far better than M Shack.

BridgeTroll

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

TheCat

I just ate at MShack for the first time. I thought it was awesome and I went with the lettuce wrap version. I've yet to try Epik but my preminition is they have too many burger concepts to really nail any one "style".

spuwho

We tried Epik. No doubt they tasted great.  But too expensive.

It's a value question, not a quality question.

I wasn't looking for a McDonalds style value, hardly, I knew that walking in.

We were all impressed by what they delivered. Was it enough to warrant repeat visits? IMHO. No.

Burger nuts like my nephew will love it. Now that I have tried it, I found out I don't need that level of burger in my appetite.

I'd give Epik a 2/10.
M Shack is a 7/10

Honestly, the best burger I've ever had in Jax wasn't at a burger place. Got it from the French Pantry on Powers Ave..

Same here, my fav burger is the loop (which is really a pizza place). They make an awesome burger.
Jags season ticket holder.

The last time I went to the loop I decided to never go back. That was more than 5 years ago. That decision is reaffirmed every 7 months or so, when a friend tells me about their recent experience at the loop.

M Shack is that good? Hmm, guess I will give it a run. Is French Pantry still open?

Does the T-U still do a "Jax Best Burger" feature?

A lot of new joints are opening, including BurgerFi at SJTC. Perhaps it time for a new compare.
