Great reuse of the facility. I've been taking my recycle materials there for years. Just a fantastic team and they have a garden as well. Want to see the cool fish tank. Bring the family they give you a tootsie roll at the check out window. They make it fun to recycle. Ennis thanks again for the history and tour.

Is the Taylor Hardwick building still standing?  Yes, I too would like to see the fish.

Cool, so I can take my cans that I've been saviing, do they pay out in cash or check?

So happy to see this story. I've been doing work for them for the past 10 years and I consider them extremely good friends (my picture is up on the wall outside of Linda's office. Look for the Stormtrooper.) they pay out cash, urbaknight and probably pay the best on metal in town due to the volume that they do. They also hold open to the public bbq's frequently. Make sure you ask the staff when the next one is. It's always a hoot.

Doing work there is some of the best people watching in the city and that's one of the safest recycling facilities in town, if not the state!

No pictures of the fish pond?

The pond is pretty cool. Lots of fish in there. However, I promised Main Metal, they'd be able to select the images of their facility for the story and that was one that didn't make the cut.
