Inside Springfield's Paul Davis Restorations



Bill Hoff of MySpringfield.org shares a behind the scenes look at Paul Davis Restorations' move into the Springfield Warehouse District's historic Chevrolet Parts Depot.  Dating back to 1929 and designed by famed industrial architect Albert Kahn, this building was used by the Chevrolet Motor Company as a parts warehouse from 1929 to 1958.

The area has so much potential.

What is going on with the ministry that runs the building next door?

Great story indeed.  That area could be the crown jewel of Springfiels and the whole Northside.   It done right, it could even go a long way to improve the image of the entire Norht side of the city.

If only others in this city who have the means could put their money into things like this. The inner core would almost transform over night.

It is a very creative and impressive use of the space.  Paul Davis Restorations should be be highly awarded for this adaptive reuse project.  Hopefully, it encourages the reuse of nearby structures.

Always thought this building would have made a great loft building. But glad it went to someone who understands the importance of renovation and restoration and saved the building. Great job.
