No dont tear it down! I love the vintage building! Arrgghh
Jesus Christ not everything can nor should be saved! >:(

I just personally like the building. I think Im entitled to do that  ::)
I LIKE THE BUILDING TOO.. The building should be saved.  Jesus Christ!   >:P
KK owns the land Thank God and will not have to really worry about saving a building that has been sitting since 2005 when it closed. Have you be out to the building it looks OK from the outside but its trashed and has a lot of problems. Besides the inside was very small I remember the lines outside the door on most mornings now if KK wants to rebuild the old style into the new building I'm OK with that. But let KK do what it wants Jesus Christ!

Just wrote to KK myself .. Save the Cassat  Ave Building.. Enough with demolishing

They spent over $56,000 in property taxes from 2005, wow, there must be gold under that building....
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

I'm glad to see them coming back but they need to bulldoze the old building ASAP and keep the old sign.

I asked them to restore the vintage sign, and I thought it would be KK Kool to restore the vintage building. But nevertheless, I was glad they were coming back to that location.

^ I also sent KK an email asking them to restore the sign. If we all do, maybe they will ;D

Think about it: A new building and old sign will really look cool together, draw attention to the place, AND increase sales. Its a win-win :)

(Not to mention the JOBS Krispy Kreme will create. Hey, every little bit helps!)

The sad thing about this whole thing is this site back in 2005 shouldn't have closed. I remember the older ladies that had worked at the Cassat Ave store. And a lot had worked there for years and were close to retirement what happen too them? Besides KK still has owned the land and has paid $56,000 dollars over the years in Prop Taxes to keep the land that fact said by mtraininjax! Did KK make a pack with DD the sameway 7/11 made with Gate the world may never know.
