Where is the mayor's other hand?  Hmm, you can't go wrong in either position.  Can you imagine something like this being taken today?

I'm surprised that mayor 'Tanzler' needed a ladder!  We didn't tower over many cities, but Tanzler towered over their officials.

Keep in mind kids several things were colliding in our culture at that time...

Let's not forget cigarettes and martini's... you know the kind EVERY successful person uses.

National Airlines ad's had a sexy group of stew's wearing almost nothing, saying 'Hi I'm Jan, Fly me to Phoenix'.

Meanwhile the college age and younger wanted nothing to do with style, or the status quo. It really was like a generational war and I'm not real sure anybody won.



It was Rowan and Martin's Laugh in that came up with the most usable idea for MJ... They would hand out a weekly; 'flying fickle finder of fate', award for the stupidest stunt of the week. Maybe we should revive it and offer an MJ version every month or two?
