As you all know, Preservation SOS has a full plate. We have been approached by an individual, who would like to take on our Clark Street bungalow. Before making a decision, we would like to give others the opportunity to bid for this bungalow to find the best possible solution. If you are interested in purchasing this bungalow from Preservation SOS, please let us know by August 10. To submit a proposal, please e-mail it to info@preservationsos.org.

Preservation SOS is a non profit, and we are not interested in maximizing the purchase price for the bungalow. Our main interest is a sound and credible proposal to maintain the bungalow. Proposals will be evaluated based on:

- experience of the buyer in historic preservation, in particular in Springfield.
- time table to mothball and/or restore the bungalow. We are looking for realistic plans that will preserve the house.
- estimated resources needed to accomplish the plan, and how these resources will be obtained.

Please limit your initial proposals to 1 letter size page. We may come back with additional questions if needed. Our board will pick the most promising proposal. If two proposals are equally qualified based on the criteria listed above, we will prefer the one with the higher purchase price offer.

The bungalow will be sold as is without any warranties. The title may be transferred conditional to meeting certain renovation goals.
