What's going on with the grassy area next to John Gorrie?

I was wondering if anyone know what was planned for the grassy area along Stockton St next to the John Gorrie.  I was sitting at Bold Bean Coffee with my stomach rumbling this afternoon and would have loved to sit outside and enjoy the lunch I had in my bag, but didn't want to walk all the way to Riverside Park just to eat outside.  That area would be great with a couple trees, some landscaping, and a few tables and benches.  Right now it is a bit reminiscent to that large and underused sodded area by the new courthouse.

I believe that the Weavers own that space, and were going to add retail, if the market was stronger, but it still sits empty and at least grassy, but if they can sell a few more or fill the residences, who knows. It sure would be great to see!
