Modern/Contemporary Architecture?

I'm wishing there was more stuff like http://www.contentdg.com/walnut-house-modern-historic-district/ in the urban neighborhoods. Am I alone in this and if not, any chance of stuff like it in the future?

I personally LOVE 'ultra-modern' architecture, modern and post modern are both cool as are the prairie style buildings found locally. So I guess your not alone.
