I'm sure there will be plenty of lots open to park in- just like there are for Jags games.

That is what I was thinking. You still have the garages near the baseball stadium and all of the surfaces lot at the stadium and MetPark.

^Perhaps they were referring to "free" parking.

No, I was referring to the lots closest to the stadium.  I figure the usual lots will be open.  Jags games designate lots that you have to be assigned to (A-KK).  I would pay for several spots if I can get right by the stadium in C, D, J, M, or N (I park in E for Jags games).

Garage parking is not well suited for open grills.

Trying to get a group of 5 cars together, I'd like to have it planned out.
So I said to him: Arthur, Artie come on, why does the salesman have to die? Change the title; The life of a salesman. That's what people want to see.

You might try calling down to the stadium to see if you can pay in advance and reserve spots together.  If not you might just have to go early to ensure getting them together.  I park in the Tailgaters parking lot for Jags games in order to get a designated spot.  You might try calling them also to see if you could reserve a few spots together.  They're pretty helpful about that sort of thing.

Just called the stadium.  You can buy parking passes for the lots.  They are $20 a piece and you can get them at the Arena monday-friday 10am-4pm.  However, they'll be open all day tomorrow because of the Sharks game.

Are they available at the Arena ticket window or the Stadium ticket window?

BTW-I called Visit Jax and they have never called me back regarding purchasing parking passes...

Arena ticket window.

I called the stadium and they directed me to the Arena.  I guess they handle the lots.

@ Intuition - Any chance that you guys will brew some (80 shilling) Scottish style ale in honor of the game?

I'll be cheering loudly for the USA, but I wouldn't mind imbibing something akin to the Edinburgh-ubiquitous Caledonian 80/* all weekend.

*Yes, fellow beer snobs, I know Caley isn't the world's best 80; just an example.

Looks like no Jozy, according to the roster update today he won't be joining the team until the 28th.  Surprised Brek wasn't called up, he seemed a favorite of Juergen's.

I think Brek Shea could still make it down the road. I'll preface this by saying I'm a huge fan of his, however, he really lacks consistency and polish. He's got the size and athleticism to be a great one, but I constantly saw passes that didn't hit the mark and questionable hustle. Here's to hoping he tightens his game up before the world cup.

That is awesome, I think 40,000 is a possibility
