Intuition Ale Works

Anyone know if I can buy parking passes before the day of the event?

Wanted to host an IAW tailgate but need to know where we will be setting up first.

Scotland is not bringing Charlie Adam, Darren Fletcher, James Morrison, and Alan Hutton who are a few of their better players. Adam and Fletcher are hurt, but not sure about the others.

On paper that is a team we should have no trouble beating at home.

Starting to see the marketing push (Time-Union, Money Pages, etc.).  Wonder if they'll have a "Daily Deal/Groupon" like D.C. did too.  I'm reforecasting my projection @ 34k.

Klinsmann just announced the initial training/early summer roster. Obviously, more names will be added next week. Already a lot of good players on the list.

GOALKEEPERS (3): Brad Guzan (Aston Villa), Tim Howard (Everton), Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake)
DEFENDERS (4): Carlos Bocanegra (Rangers), Edgar Castillo (Club Tijuana), Steve Cherundolo (Hannover), Alfredo Morales (Hertha Berlin)

Hope he calls up Jozy, I was under the impression that the remaining call ups would be for MLS based players (Brek Shea, Landon and a few more) but the article leaves open the possibility of more Foreign based players being called.  Jozy offers a physical presence and holding ability this teams needs sometimes.  Played really well against Italy.

I'm excited about Torres being back. Great looking midfielder last time I saw him play.

no Chandler
I think he wants to see if he can make the German team before he gets cap-tied to the US.  Part of me wants Klinsmann to tell him to F off, but he is soooo good.

Unlikely that Chandler will ever get that call up, but fullback is the weakest position for Germany right now, so you never know.

And I agree Control about Jozy. He's had a good season and needs to be a part of the team. His holdup play is needed if Dempsey is going to play a CAM/2nd striker type position.

Make sure you let us all know if this is going to work out.  I'd love an Intuition on the way into the game!

+1

Paco Torres looks like the most creative center mid we have now.  I think Bradley didn't like him because he played a little too far back, but I really want to see what Klinsmann can do with him.

I hope not. I think those Groupon/Living Social deals on events end up pissing off the people that paid full price in the beginning.

Chandler has played in friendlies, new FIFA rules state he isn't tied until he plays in an official FIFA match like the WC qualifiers or the Gold Cup that he opted out of.  Jermaine Jones has 3 caps for Germany and then switched to the US.
