Greetings. Longtime poster but been offline for a bit.

I now work for a non-profit company www.wehelp247 that helps people with credit issues and other financial challenges through rent-to-own education. Our program is free and provides a  comprehensive, team approach cure to the endless cycle of throwing your money away month after month to a landlord.

I truly believe one of the keys to enhancing our city is OWNERSHIP. More than a few studies have shown a connection between home ownership and enhancement of education, standard of living, and in some cases income as well.

There can be obstacles however. Strict lending environments of today's economy, bad credit, other situations while real, are not impossible to overcome. I saw one study city it was now cheaper to buy a home than to rent in 75% of US cities! http://money.cnn.com/2011/08/16/real_estate/buy_rent/index.htm

If you know someone who is tired of rent and wants to stop throwing money away to a landlord, or is interested in a home but has credit issues, check out our website at WeHelp247.com or give a call at 722-9000. We offer FREE workshops for individuals who are committed to learning, open to advisement of a free team of counselors, and are eager to build their own home equity.

Very excited to work here and looking forward to helping people become homeowners who otherwise could not through our free programs. Give me a call or send us an email at wehelp247.com and mention MetroJacksonville in your subject line.

Thanks!

RJP

I hope I am wrong, but this seems slightly suspicious. I love the idea of  individuals getting counseling but this appears to be just a company that wants to push rent-to-own transactions; which are not necessarily a good deal for renter/buyer.

I would recommend anyone who looks into this be verrryyyyyyyyyyyyyy careful about signing rental agreements and non-refundable deposits.

This could be the greatest "non profit" company ever for all I know, but please be careful.

+1. Something about the phrasing of that post sends up the proverbial red flag in my head.

Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

All are welcome to check out our website, especially the video section highlighting our program participants. Also, we conduct educational workshops on site about the benefits of homeownership versus perpetual renting. If you or someone you know has credit issues and other financial obstacles, and you're serious about becoming a homeowner give us a call. It's our pleasure to be of service and help you attain your goals. :)

I think the owners of this corporation are in financial distress themselves to include foreclosure.  You can find their names on SunBiz and then you can check it out for yourself on Duval County Public Records website.
This link: [http://oncore.duvalclerk.com/showdetails.aspx?id=12176379&rn=0&pi=0&ref=search] may also take you straight there. It would be interesting to know how many of their participants will come forth and let the public know if they have closed on their homes and if so how long have they been in their homes. It would also be nice to know how many people were taken for $5000.00, less or more but came out with nothing in exchange for it.

Wehelp247, reminds me of the Fred Claus charity "People helping People" when he was competing with the Salvation army kettles, just to make a few extra bucks on unsuspecting people. Not saying these are the same, just reminds me of it.
