The Jacksonville Jaguars

Down 41-3 currently. At least we're getting Lot J 2.0 in the off-season!

Top 10 1st round picks in 12 of the last 13 drafts and the team is this horrendous. The current "generational-talent" QB not really helping to build hope for the future.

Snaketoz

What a fiasco.  Is there any hope for the Jaguars?  Having 1st round picks means nothing.  Predictable plays on offense.  Defenders who are afraid to make contact.  Boring as Hell.  Guess we are in for another "rebuild".  Yeah, that'll work.

Heartbreaking to see this franchise finding new ways to hit rock bottom each and every week.

Per Dilla, Trevor Lawrence has requested another 1-on-1 with Shad Khan.

Vibe I get sure doesn't suggest that Baalke is long for this franchise, but hopefully the kid can help expedite blowing this shit-show up before another HC interview takes place.

It is going to be HILARIOUS if the Jags try to hold a state of the franchise with a straight face this off-season.

Silver lining, I guess: Jacksonville's gonna have a lot more leverage on stadium negotations and the upcoming Lot J 2.0 talks than they would have had a year ago when hype was at an all-time high with the Lawrence/Urban signings.

Not even joking, I wish Shad would hand the team over to Tony tomorrow. The difference between what Tony has done in two years with AEW and what Shad has done in 10 years with the Jags is just night and day. Guy absolutely LOVES Jacksonville, is great at listening to his fanbase, is beloved by his crew and athletes, has recruited talent to come to AEW that most thought would never leave the WWE or return to wrestling, and has built a wildly successful winner. I trust Tony more to put together a front office and run from this franchise than I do his Dad at this point.

The were 1-15 last year, drafted the top quarterback and got worse. Amazing.

[sarcasm mode on] Got Worse? How can you say that? We doubled the number of wins, and with luck next Sunday may triple! [end sarcasm mode]

More reports Baalke may be on the ropes if Khan is serious about finding the best coach he can.  CBS reports many in the NFL say coaches won't seriously consider the Jags position if Baalke stays.  Many don't see how he survives much longer.

QuoteJaguars head coach search: Retaining GM Trent Baalke will hinder team's ability to attract top candidates

There are plenty of reasons to be skeptical about Baalke staying in Jacksonville

The Jaguars surprised many in the NFL orbit when they opted to retain general manager Trent Baalke for their head coaching search, with that controversial decision already turning off several top candidates and creating backlash within their fanbase.

On the heels of the gamble to hire Urban Meyer a year ago, and then having to fire him less than a year into his tenure, this decision to keep Baalke in a position of power to begin this latest search was viewed by the industry as problematic to say the least. Baalke's reputation in coaching circles is not strong, he is seen as a political animal who is often locked in a power struggle, and his personnel record in recent years is spotty.

"My client would have to fire me to take an interview there under this setup," said one top coaching agent. "No way. It's totally backwards."....

I'm hoping that Shad will come to realize that he very well may be the major factor in the Jag's woes.  I think he will get the message and move on with a clean slate.  I hope in my lifetime the Jaguars will be a team that will make us proud.

Brian Flores just jumped to the top of my head coach list... Flores, Bienemy, Caldwell...

Ross is a clown. If he wanted to fire someone, he should have fired the GM. Flores did a pretty good job with what he was given to work with two seasons ago. Chris Grier is the guy who made some pretty bad draft picks.

Unfortunately the Jags will now have to compete with the other 5 franchises who fired their head coach today. Another mistake, 2 outstanding candidates available and neither hired.  The league changed the damn rules to gives teams like the jags a chance to interview/ hire before the end of the season. Missed opportunity.

Other than the Jag's GM, anyone else want Bill O'Brien?
