I'm surprised. I thought this Ravens fan did not like UM players?!

Honestly CC must be delighted, from this dog house to the Penthouse!

I had no problem with Ray Lewis and Ed Reed - once they cleaned up

Poll--Joe Schobert's production for the Jags:  More like Calais Cambell? or Toby Gerhart?

BridgeTroll

Seems unfair to compare him to Calais but I think he will be a great addition...
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Reports Jags are trading Nick Foles to the Chicago Bears... I like it.

There are a couple of interesting free agents out there who might work...

Jags will now pick a QB in the first round... 8)

Really? So if Minshew gets hurt we bring in a Rookie who has never started a game, again?  Hope not. If we suck as expected we might be able to get the Clemson dude... in 2021.

BridgeTroll

Minshew is a nice story... I dont think he is long-term starter.

I think they take a QB early if they REALLY like him. QB is the position that teams reach for the most. Basically, a team needs a QB, sees a QB, and decides, this is the guy who they need.

In that way it isn't much different than a 20-something seeing a potential one night stand target on a slow night in the club. It could be a true gem, or it could be whatever scraps are available that night.

Message to the Jags: Don't be that person. If you really think this person is amazing then sure. Otherwise see what you have in Minshew and go back to the club (draft) another night (next year).

Their history of drafting QB's in the first round is laughable....... or 'not' drafting. Unless I'm mistaken we had a clean shot at Lamar Jackson.

MusicMan

Free agent QB's starting to look interesting. I'd take Cam or Jameis over the dude we sent to Chicago....

wanderson91

I definitely don't want Jameis here. That'd be like bringing back Bortles. No, thank you.

Like Cam Newton?

BTW- Is Jahn's Kismet in town for something Jags related?  It came up the St. JOhn's yesteday and is docked in it's usual spot in front of CSX.
