LA will absolutely be in demand once the stadium is completed. It will become a destination and people will want to be there.

It will probably be filled with opposing fans.

For Charger fans against Denver, it will be a sea of orange.

One of the most noticeable things about the game was the Jags discipline (Marrone/Coughlin) in a sense of acting like they won before. They wasn't all extra animated like they just won the Super Bowl, they were composed like Ws will be routine; I love it! Even their penalties (some questionable calls by the refs) were effort plays (like the broadcast said) and not boneheaded errors. Even after the win, their mentality was like 'on to the Titans'. This is a scary team not many are wanna going to tangle with. #DTWD

I hear ya. None of that "We Believe in Victory" crap. Of course you believe in it, that's why you play the game, to win.

I'm glad that creampuff culture is gone. Hopefully this roster has been cleansed of that.

In fairness to the 49er fans, that picture of the beginning of the 2nd half is something of a FAKE NEWS photo. It was 97 degrees that day, and those folks aren't used to that. Average high for that area is 80 degrees this time of year. Many of those empty seats were actually filled but the fans were doing the halftime food, bathroom, socialize thing.

L.A. is another story, but they clearly will demand stadiums with modern amenities or just say the hell with it. When that incredible new stadium gets built, things will change. Especially if both teams are somewhat competitive.

Wrong again.  It's well known the dumbass 49ers can't fill their stadium because they built it way the hell away from their population center., thinking all they needed were Silicon Valley venture capitalist app douches buying luxury boxes.  Weather or no weather, they aren't selling tickets.  This is of the same piece as the LA moves: in trying to fleece cities for stadium money, teams are making stupid moves that very soon are going to bite them in the ass.  The NFL's greed will ultimately be its downfall. Well, that and that it literally disables and kills people, but who cares about that.

And, even if they were good, these problems would remain. SF is already expensive as hell. The average guy isn't doing a 4 hour round trip to see home games.  Jed York is a stupid, pathetic fail son, as evidenced by this stadium and firing the only decent coach they have had in forever, and replacing him with hobo guru Tomsula.
Technically, they moved the team to a more populated area.  San Fransisco has a population of 870,000.  Santa Clara county has a population nearing 2 million. The question is certainly not one of available bodies for seats but fan base.  The county is split among 49ers fans and Raiders fans.  They should still have more than enough to fill seats in San Jose.

They also sold over 70k tickets to that game. It's not like they're sweating it.

How bad are the Texans to make the Jags look like the 85 Bears last week? There has been almost no pressure from the ends today. Not everything is Blakes's fault but when this team can't run the ball and control the game with defense, he can't do enough to lead them.

Apparently getting 10 sacks a game and winning with only 121 yards passing is not sustainable in the NFL, who knew.

The Jaguars make me ill.  I totally bought in to the premise that the Jaguars were an improved team.  What a debacle.  Poor coaching, poor defense, very poor QB, poor energy level, too many penalties.  The Jaguars must have smoked a few bowls before the game.  What happened to the pass rush?  I hope the Jags are looking for a QB.  Bortles isn't helping.  He didn't need to last week.  This week we needed a QB.  Yawn, another early pick in the draft and another "rebuilding" year in 2018.

That loss was Bortles fault. The defense was fine in the first half before they got tired from being on the field. Three turnovers directly attributable to Bortles is completely unacceptable. Please start Henne.

Got crazy and dropped $75 for a ticket to yesterday's fiasco.  Our offense is once again painful to watch.

After watching the Packers and Atlanta I am utterly mystified by the Jags. Those two teams execute so many nice offensive plays, long drives. The Jags struggles to string together a couple of first downs.

It's hard to believe they are in the same league, and one designed with parity in mind. Our offense looks literally unchanged from the last few years, incredibly boring to watch. Sluggish. No creativity. The Titans have achieved what we are hoping for. They have had almost the exact same draft opportunities we have had yet they have 2 young Heisman Trophy winners, a stoudt offensive line,  a stellar tight end who makes lots of plays.

Off to London and the Ravens, who have Joe Flacco and looked pretty good yesterday as well.

P.S.  The loss was not JUST Bortles fault. The whole team dropped a duece on us. Marcedes dropping a wide open pass.  .......
There was plenty of blame to go around. FACT: The Titans are a better team. The Jags played with no urgency. We need that on every play because our margin of error is razor thin. More than 3 big mistakes and we almost certainly lose. They Titans played well. Focused solid football. Shad spent $45 million on scoreboards. They are nice, but I still wish he had invested it into the team instead.

It's a shame that the Jaguar's offense has to play to Bortle's strengths, which as far as I can see are none.

I can't remember the last time he messed up a handoff...so there is that.

I know other players played poorly, and the drops definitely contributed, but I think the whole team performed worse and worse as the game went on simply because they lost hope as a result of Bortles performance. There is nothing more motivating as a defense than saving your quarterback's ass with a great redzone stop only to have him give it right back to the other team.

I went to the game yesterday.  The first half was horrible. That game would have been over a lot earlier if Tennessee simply features Henry as their primary RB. Overall, I thought the defense played well until the Jags fell behind more than a single possession. At that point, the game was over anyway because the offense simply couldn't get anything going. Btw, I'd run Fournette into the ground. Dude could probably sustain a drive or two by himself, as opposed to the RB by committee thing.

...Btw, I'd run Fournette into the ground.

That is what they are going to do. Most rookies fade during a season as they adapt to the toughness of the NFL and the 16 game schedule. Add that to the fact that he is making plays by running though people and he won't make it far into this year. The running holes look the same for Fournette as they have had for the last several years. He is just good enough and strong enough to get positive yards out if it. However his body will only take so much abuse when the box is stacked with 8 defenders every time.

Finally, the Jaguars have addressed their QB problem.  They have signed Ryan Nassib, who was recently released by the New Orleans Saints.  He played for Marrone at Syracuse.  He was a 4th round pick by Coughlin while he was with the NY Giants in 2013.  The Jaguars need to move on from their past.  They have a lot of expensive players who aren't pulling their share of the load.  Bortles, Marcedes Lewis, and an Alabama RB on the injured list come to mind.

I doubt Nassib resolves their QB issue. It's something they're going to have to seriously address in the offseason via free agency or the draft.
