Damn. Some of y'all can barely hide your glee and some are giving in to the frustration *way* too early.

Blake screwed up that game, he seemed to be off most of the game and the Pick-6 was an absolute killer. And, to me, it was a game we should have won.

This is a year we're going to have to endure. A healthy Dante Fowler would have made a tremendous difference in this game. So would a healthy Julius Thomas and a healthy Marqise Lee. Yes, every team has to deal with injuries but we've had to deal with far  more than our share. Gus, it seems to me, has done a damn good job all in all. Everything rides on Blake. He simply cannot throw us out of games. He can't continue with the Pick-6 tendencies. But, he needs help from his WRs and, most especially, from his tight ends until Marqise Lee can hit the field and stretch out the coverages. Soon come, that's all I can say, soon come.

All is not lost, though. T.J. Yeldon has the look of a winner and our defense seems adequate. A good result this weekend, and all is well.

Beat Miamuh !!!

Also Blake missed some open targets out there (esp Greene) as he was passing it to the wrong WRs; I cant tell you how many times people in my section was saying 'the slot is open'.

Only on a video game. I have them penciled in at 5-1 (worst case scenario) to start the season! Should be 6-0 but there's a history of dropping games to Buffalo.

^^^You must have not seen Tennessee play (speaking as an objective fan). I know that it's very early, and I'm not saying that the Titans are going to the Super Bowl, but it look like they got their stuff together with Mariota. I wouldn't be so quick to nonchalantly count a game in Nissan Stadium as a W.

They need to completely change that pass play out into the right flat, and make it a double pump fake then throw it deep. Defensive backs are looking for it, and if you sell them on it, someone can get wide open behind them. Just don't ever throw it out there again. THROW IT OUT OF BOUNDS IF IT'S COVERED.

That's what happens to teams that let a QB from Free Shoes University run the show. If Mariota starts to get out a hand, Suh will poke his eye out in the pile! I'm viewing both Jax and Tennessee the same way.  Two young and upcoming teams that will improve as the season goes on. However, the only thing they're taking home against the fish in September is a pair of Ls.

I believe in the games vs MIA and PIT last year, that exact pass resulted in pick sixes.

Gotta admit, I love that image. Perfect representation of Miamuh overconfidence.

I think Yeldon's gonna spank that azz and have Ennis asking, and Jags fans chanting, Ndamukong Who ? ? ?

God, I love the Jaguar delusions. I take deep, wafting breaths like a fragrant flower. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-- smells so good.  They couldnt stop Carolina, what makes you think Suh and Wake arent going to have it even easier.

Hey Rachel... are you the fan of a team?  Any Team?

He's still working on this whole '16-game season' thing.  Let's cut him a little slack.  ;D

In Blake's defense, the DB that jumped the route was hidden behind a LB when Blake did the initial checkoff.

Second, OC's should not be calling out patterns in traffic so deep in your own territory.

Third, to pick on Blake, when he saw the amount of coverage he should have checked down, but he wanted to get the pass in fast because of the man to man on the receiver.

I saw some really good passes dropped by Jag receivers.

When the offense is anemic, any turnover can be painful at the end. But I did see some improvements.

I am worried about Luke Joeckel. He was getting overwhelmed and while the ankle injury hampered him to some degree, his ability and longevity is getting concerning.

I'd actively dislike any NFL team in whichever city I lived in because it's a scam run on the backs of the municipalities in which they are located.

I know it's got to be hard living a life full of hate and disdain towards everything that seems unfair to the general public, but you seem to handle it with such a sense of class and humbleness.  I'm confident that you must eschew all types of government subsidy and probably wear homemade clothes made from your personally grown hemp garden as you subsist on a monk-like existence in this corporatized world that we live in.  I am in awe.  Literally.

Even so, I'm going to have to take you off of my Christmas Card list due to your unwavering moral convictions.  I'm sure that the paltry sums that corporate behemoths like Hallmark pay their talent base would only offend you more.  I'll still pray for you.  God Bless.

2) Geez, how embarrassing of me that I mis-typed as to the number of games in a season. That so much more embarassing than...

Sure.

1) No I am not a particular fan of any NFL team.  I watch Jags games because they're in my market.  I'd actively dislike any NFL team in whichever city I lived in because it's a scam run on the backs of the municipalities in which they are located.  But people ignore that because "DONT YOU DARE TOUCH MY FOOTBAW! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY BUSINESSES LOCATED IN JAX BECAUSE OF THIS TEAM*!?!?!!"  But, here I am watching the games.  My cognitive dissonance game is strong, if nothing else.

(*zero would be the answer, but try telling them that)

2) Geez, how embarrassing of me that I mis-typed as to the number of games in a season. That so much more embarassing than the guy who said we are going to the playoffs this year and are a definite lock to make a run to the Super Bowl next year. I mean, that is some spot-on analysis right there.  Sure beats out the fact that I correctly pointed out that this time is a dumpster fire.  When they win 5 or less games this year, remind me again how dumb I am (jesus, please dont let me eat those words come January)

Didn't you say you like college football? It's the same racket there, except the people doing the footballing don't even get paid.

Simply awesome NRW!... But I think you give 'ol Rachel too much credit.  Rachel is just a troll... a fan of nothing.
