The team seems to be getting worse.

Not sure Bradley can survive this mess.
time for a new coach.

It's not the coaching. It's the talent on the field.

It's not Gus. They are still making mistakes, but they are also making some improvements.

Large $$ free agents have not been Caldwell's MO.
What improvements have they made???

Would people stop pointing at Manning every time a rookie throws an interception?  He's the outlier!  You don't point to the outlier and say "See"!

But since Manning gets brought up every time, he also threw 26 TDs.  Blake has 8 through 9 games.
So I said to him: Arthur, Artie come on, why does the salesman have to die? Change the title; The life of a salesman. That's what people want to see.

I still think Bortles is our guy, and I have no problem seeing him throw multiple interceptions a game as long as he is learning from his mistakes and improving each week. What I do have a problem with though is watching Jedd Fisch clearly giving him a vote of no confidence with his play calling. How is Bortles going to improve by handing off on the first two downs every drive, being put in difficult 3rd and 9 situations, and then throwing a couple of yards downfield to a running back? Let him make mistakes and continue to make mistakes. Then we'll start to see what he's made of. At this point, there's absolutely nothing to lose by letting him take chances.

Yeah, maybe they're failing like a fox... 1st round picks anyone?

I assume you mean #1 pick....every team, unless thay traded it away, get a first round pick

I think Bortles can still be the guy. But Bradley and his coaching staff do not appear to be the guys to develop his talent. Best move that could be made is axe Bradley and hire an offensive minded head coach like Greg Roman.

And what could Roman do with a rookie squad and injured WR set that Bradley couldn't?

looks like RGIII will be available soon...
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

That was a hell of a game. Im glad to see a game without stupid mistakes. That was a huge comeback. ALso happy to see Bortles stayed composed and also not turn the ball over. That O-line was not doing him any favors and Luke was turn style today. On a side note, Im not calling for anyones head at this point. Khan, Caldwell and Bradely knew what they were getting into when the decided to blow everything up and build through the draft. I think we be knee jerk reaction to get rid of anyone at this point. As far as the rebuild, in the third year is when you should see significant progress and more wins. No one ever said were going to go the playoffs next year. Everyone is so stuck on the "3 year rebuild" comments but unfornately this is the NFL and you never know what they hell will happen year over year. Let all the coaches play out there contracts and see where the team is at that point. Ive just seen to often franchises fire their staff who are rebuilding team, then the next coach comes in an reap the benefits. Think about Coughlin. He built that team Del Rio had early in his tenure, but Del Rio was getting all the credit and he really didnt do shit.  Today showed they can win games. We have the youngest team in the NFL. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Awesome win!! Down 21, that was the biggest comeback ever! Great atmosphere at the game with and announced crowd of 64, 687 and the weather was great.

Con- When the Jags went for the 2 point conversion in the 3rd quarter, I thought that it was the dumbest decision, and I said it in Section 216 from the get-go. Just kick the damn extra point, versus chasing points, like this is Madden 25 on PS4. With the G-Men going up 24-22 (instead of being tied up 24 if we kicked the extra points) we are extremely lucky that bullcrap didn't cost us the game.

Pros- The late blooming defense came through just in time with several impact plays, Anger was awesome on special teams, and Jedd Fisch, as much as I hated his play calling in the Indy game, he called a helluva game vs the Giants, mixing it up alot (Bortles bootlegs, Shoelace Wildcat etc).

pierre

That was fun today. I know the Giants are not very good. But I like the way the team came back from 21 down and to see young guys like Lee and Colvin making plays.

The Bortles to Lee combo was freaking awesome. Notice that on the JT Thomas fumble recovery TD, Sen' Derrick Marks was on his back, and his leg impeded Rashad Jennings from recovering the football (which would've been a safety instead of a TD). Even when Marks don't even know it, he's making plays! :)

If Sen'Derrick doesn't make the Pro Bowl, I'm organizing a protest.

I hope the T-U staff collectively feels miserable today about not getting to use another of their classy "beatdown" headlines.
