Glad he was honest and didn't just say what he thought everyone would want to hear. Are they listening? doubt it!!!

I love what the Jags are doing. They are staying active bringing in solid pick-ups, which is the best thing to do with a rebuilding franchise. Like some are saying in baseball terms, the Jags aren't hitting homeruns(splashy pick ups) but are hitting hella base advancing singles(solid pick ups).

This 'Seattle to Jacksonville' pipeline thing has alot of merit to it, with Gus at the helm; Now they are showing interest in Seahawks DT Chris Clemons. Also they brought in some Steelers to visit; WR Emmanuel Sanders and DE Ziggy Hood.

So far the Jaguars have signed...

Tampa Bay LB Dekoda Watson
Minnesota RB Toby Gerhart
Seattle DT Red Bryant
Denver G Zane Beadles

+1 Agreed. The past 24 hours have been a JagFan euphoria!

I'll be sad to see Mojo go to another team (unless he gets a ring), but it is what it is.

He was the beast, but honestly even the fans have backed away from him. After that whole salary game he played it soured his fan base, and in honestly I wasn't that impressed last season by his plays. I don't think I wore his jerseys at all last season. I know he is hoping for more money, but I can't see another team putting that much more into him. Just like even he stays, I don't see him playing more than 2 seasons.

Funny that you say that Keith, because I actually think vice-versa. I will have to preface by saying that Mojo obviously gave us Jags fans some great years, and during his time here he was one of the very few faces of the franchise. That being said, his time here ran it's course and his best years are definitely behind him.

As of recent years time & time again, he couldn't get that necessary short yardage, on 3rd & 4th downs. 2013, would I have been sad to see Mojo go? Yes. 2014? No. Contrasting to what you said, I wish him nothing but the best with his future team; If that happens to be a Tom Coughlin-esque Super Bowl championship, that's cool with me. I'll be pretty surprised if he speaks of any hard feelings torward the Jaguars or the city after his departure.

I agree. after the the hold out, he's seemed cocky as hell ever since, and its been all about the money ever since. Thats the one thing i miss abou t Fred Taylor, he was a Jag through and through, and fought not to get cut. He was loyal. But I understand most players are about the money. But with that being said, Im over MJD and dont care if he goes or stays to be honest.

Albert Breer of the NFL Network is reporting that (DE) Chris Clemons is expected to sign with the Jaguars when he visits.

MJD's best years are behind him. If some other team wants to give him more money than the Jags are willing to offer, good for Mojo and his new team.

duvaldude08

Weve added Ziggy Hood and Chris Clemons. Man, this is looking good. And I keep forgetting we have 11 draft picks.

I'm really impressed so far with the moves.  Hopefully they all work out, but you can't win em all if you don't try!

I think it really opens up the draft for the Jags, no longer hamstrung with so many holes to fill, it really gives them many options for draft strategy.

duvaldude08

Theyve been heavy on the defense, but I think they are just taking advantage of the opportunity to build some depth. I think hit the two position they wanted for offense in free agency.
