I read the stupid shit Joost said. He stated he wanted a "guarantee" in writing that the team would not move and whose to stay that they would not do what the braves is doing and leave in 10-15-20 years. And He wanted a "guarantee" in writing that the stadium would attract other major events. HUH? Honestly, neither of those can be guarantee in writing. Even if they were and the guarantee were broken then what? That the dumbest shit I have even heard. " I hereby state I wont move the Jaguars".  ::)

Does this idiot not realize that the city will benefit from this? Is he not aware that georgia may be making a push to get the FL/GA once the Falcons new stadium is completed? Or the fact that city has bidded for the college playoff games? Upgrades of this nature makes you a serious contender. One thing I've noticed about MOST eventa, not just sporting events, it mostly about the venue, not where the venue is located.

QuoteJaguars LB LaRoy Reynolds suspended 4 games

Jaguars rookie linebacker LaRoy Reynolds was suspended four games Tuesday for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Reynolds will not be paid during the ban and is eligible to return to team activities Dec. 6, a day after the Jaguars host the Houston Texans.

Unlike receiver Justin Blackmon's first suspension for a substance abuse violation, Reynolds will not be allowed to attend any team meetings.

Via Twitter, Reynolds posted two messages shortly after the suspension was announced.

"Sincerest apologies to all fans, supports and [Jaguars] family. Mistakes are made but I will come back prepared to help my team.

"I know in my heart it was an honest mistake. I will continue to trust God and come back better than ever. Can't wait to re-join my team!"

I'm not even trying to say that we could have won, but wasn't that the most horribly officiated game ever? Maybe I need to see a replay or something, but it looked like we recovered a fumble on the ARI botched return near the goal line; Then on the following play, we got an interception that didn't count for whatever reason. Those refs are horrible. Well all is not lost, with the Bucs winning, and the big picture of securing that #1 draft status.  :D

I was in the stadium at the time and walked into the restroom where I think Boselli said the reason ARI got the ball back was because of "Dual-Possession" where both teams looked like they had it. Why they gave it back to ARI, I don't know. Someone would have to look up that NFL rule.

After staying to watch the full game, (I should take my radio to the game), the radio in the restroom had Lags saying we have a team of heart, just not enough talent to win week in and week out. Henne's arm seems to get worse as the game goes on, so we need to score often in the first half and hope our D can bail us out. The D did play OK, but ARI was on the field so long! Just need more and better players.

On the bright side, the Bucs won again, bringing us a little closer to the top pick.

If the draft happened tomorrow, what would you guys do?

Take a quarterback with the first pick?

Trade down?

Grab Clowney with the top pick and come back for a QB later in the draft?

I like Clowney but if a guy like Bridgewater or Manziel is seen as a potential franchise QB with the first pick the Jaguars have to take him. This team is in need of a franchise QB as desperately as any team I remember seeing. Gabbert/Henne is about as bad as it gets.

The main peril of having long hair in the NFL is that it's completely legal for opposing players to tackle players with the manes that flow from beneath the helmet. And though the hair-tackle has happened to guys like Troy Polamalu and Ricky Williams, it's hard to remember a player ever having his hair ripped out of his scalp by a defender. Andre Ellington was on the wrong side of history on Sunday.

After a short Ellington run, Jacksonville Jaguars defender Jason Babin emerged from the pile holding strands of the back's dreadlocks. He held the hair aloft, then tossed it to the ground. It looked like a scene out of Braveheart or Gladiator, except the people in those movies who hold up decapitated heads usually play for a better team than the Jags.
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Im with you. Even without a pass rush, our defense is actually doing pretty well given the majority of them are rookies. Having a pass rush is not going to win games if we dont have an offense that can not score points. We are in DESPERATE need of a QB and an O-line that can block. They can wait to the 2nd round for a pass rusher. Our first pick needs to be a QB. Period.

Yesterday's second half was just sad to watch. Anger kept pinning them deep in their own territory. The defense would stop the Cardinals. They'd punt and we'd get the ball in their territory. And we'd get no points. I don't know if I have ever seen an NFL offense so inept. There was one drive we started at their 35 and we actually lost yards and couldn't even attempt a FG.

Me and one of my coworkers was talking about our defense is relentless and is pretty given we have no pass rush AT ALL. We need to focus a HEAP of energy in our offense in the offense. With us having 10 draft picks, I think the majority needs to be used on the offense and focus on the defense in the later rounds. To be honest we need a guard, running back, quarter back, atleast two more receivers, and several other holes on the offensive line. ON defense, we of course need a defense end, which we should draft high, and we need linebacker help bad.

There are two defensive ends, Greg Hardy from Carolina and Michael Johnson from Cincinnati, who should be available in free agency. I would not be surprised to see us break the bank on one of them. Our pass rush is just awful.

I see Shorts has finally blown up about the offense. He's usually quiet so for him to go off, that shows you had bad things are. He was pissed about how he was targeted much until the end of the game sunday, and hes right. He not a #1 shut down receiver, but hes the best receiver on the roster. Not to even attempt to get him the ball is horrible. Henne threw checkdown, after checkdown, after checkdown, after checkdown. There was one play Shorts was clearly open and he STILL threw a checkdown. That coupled with our O-line who plays like they are on Meth, this is about as bad as an offense can get.
