Dallas is officially our opponent next year for our home game in London.

Shaka Kahn sure likes giving away the most attractive games to London.

Why do so many people spell Khan like that? Just like that lady at the Falcons game last year, with a sign that read "Under Kahn-Struction". Sorry, it's just my pet peeve.

Keith-N-Jax

I think the Steelers play that year also and that would be more attractive than the Cowboys. America's team blah, blah, blah,

If the Jags score a TD in London, does it count as a TD at home?

I hope so, so this irritating "no TDs at home" meme will stop.

It won't stop. They'll just say we haven't scored a TD in Jacksonville all year. Guarantee it.

There's a chance that Tampa Bay will beat out Jacksonville for the #1 draft pick next year, and that will kinda suck for us if so. They just lost to the Panthers 31-13 on TNF. Look at TB's schedule and tell me how many wins do you see? Maybe against STL since Sam Bradford is out for the season. Here's TB's schedule.

Where are Jax's wins gonna come from? Look at the AFC South. Even though we kinda have Indy's number at Lucas Oil lately, winning there this year is unlikely; So that leaves a so-so Tennessee team that we usually split against, and a very downtrodden and disappointing Houston ball club (two chances at both teams). For some reason, I'm not feeling good about Arizona, and how bad we play outer-divisional teams at home. We're most likely gonna get 1 or 2 wins, and I honestly I'll be very surprised if the Bucs get more than one win. The Jags play the Colts in the last game, and the Bucs play the Saints in theirs; Maybe the playoff teams resting starters could come into play. Well, even if the Jags get the second pick, atleast there's three good QB's to chose from (Mariota, Bridgewater, and Manziel). The Jags and Bucs fightin' first the first round, LOL.  Here's the Jags schedule below.

Tampa needs to fire that coach and you might see a more spirited team. 2013 Jags maybe worst than 2008 Lions for real.

Tampa is serious competition for that pick. They have alot more talent than the Jags too but it is a toxic situation (literally and figuratively) right now with the Bucs. It would not surprise me to see them have a quick turnaround next year if they hire the right coach.

If the Jags do end up with the second pick, I wonder if that is a situation where you take a guy like Jadaveon Clowney. And then trade back into the first round to get a QB or trade your second rounder for maybe Kirk Cousins. Similar to what they did with Brunell.

Tampa could be next year's Kansas City.

Not with Glennon at QB. He was horrible in the first half.

The other pieces though. Doug Martin, Vincent Jackson, Carl Nicks, Gerald McCoy, Lavonte David, Darrell Revis.

Not even close. Schiano is just a trainwreck. Firing him now would be a good thing for the Jags because they might actually win.

Hate to say it, but I'm kind of secretly hoping that the Jags struggle on Sunday. Not sure I have the stomach for a month of stories about how the Jags play better in London than in Jacksonville.

2013 Jags maybe worst than 2008 Lions for real.

Sadly, just looking at the numbers for the first 7 games, the 2013 Jags are certainly tracking that way.

They have scored fewer points (2013 Jags: 76 points; 2008 Lions: 114 points), allowed more points (222 vs. 212), have lost by 50% more points than the Lions (146 points total differential after 7 games, versus 98), and have looked significantly worse at home (49 total points home points for the Lions first three games in Detroit, versus 11 for the Jags, with a 20 point wider margin of defeat (78 points vs. 58). They have thrown more interceptions, and I would guess the penalties don't work out in their favor either.

All that said, a season like this is really, really rare, and is certainly not going to last forever. I'm really optimistic that we're looking at a big turnaround next year. Can't wait for the draft.

With Schiano (and Freeman at QB), the Bucs were one dumb penalty and one missed field goal away from winning their first two games. This team definitely has the talent, so they're bound to get a couple of wins by season's end. It may take firing Schiano for that to happen, though.

I'm with ya. Can you imagine all of the trollish comments if we miraculously find a way to win? "Maybe they should stay there" etc. *sigh*
