The Jacksonville Jaguars

How ironic that the 'Bridgewater Bowl' (as some called it) was more closely matched (scorewise) than the 'Manning Bowl'. When other teams have injuries, Jag fans always conveniently point that out (hypothetically said...'The Jags only beat Indy because Reggie wayne got hurt) but when we have a crapload of injuries, it's as if we were playing at full strength or something, with nobody ever mentioning anything.

Our offensive line has to be the most disappointing unit on the team right now; It seems like no one has the freaking ability to audible out of bad situations (overloading one side of the line etc, max protect adjustments etc).

I've always thought of Orlando as more of a Bucs market rather than a Jags market.. Kinda surprised this makes news?

The Jags against this Seattle defense will hurt, badly.

Orlando is probably a Bucs primary market and a Jags secondary market

It used to be split between the Bucs and Dolphins until the Jags came along.  Now, people are so mobile and it's grown so much, it probably has just as many people being fans of out of state teams as there are in state.  Right now, they are getting the worst of both worlds.  The Jags are a horrible product to watch and the Bucs are routinely blacked out.

I really dislike the joking around and laughing on the sidelines after a second straight brutal defeat.

Me, too.  But the guys get paid whether they win or lose, so it's no skin off their nose. People don't think of it this way often enough, but professional sports players are in the entertainment industry.  It's not like high school or college football where you are playing for school pride.  They are playing for money, and to entertain the fans.   Although the Jags have been anything but entertaining for awhile now.

It may be time to pull out "the unknown fan" paper bags for our heads, paint a big black mustache over the mouth, and start wearing them to games!

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Jags are definitely the primary... The Bucs had a 4 o'clock game too.
And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.

The Bucs were on Fox, though.

I thought the rule was, you can't show another game on the opposite network when the primary team is playing?

I might be off about the rule.  All I have to go on is my time in Austin where the Cowboys and Texans could be shown simultaneously, but that was 10-11 years ago and I don't know that either was the primary.

We are the joke of the NFL right now and deservedly so. We are on pace for a historically bad NFL team. I actually long for the mediocre days of Del Rio. Did Gene Smith really screw us over this bad?

the rules are complicated and I still don't understand them.  Basically, every TV market has a primary NFL team assigned and a secondary one.  Charlotte was Panthers primary, Redskins secondary.  Memphis was Titans primary, Cowboys secondary.  Then there are a bunch of rules of how that works out.

Gene, Shack, Jack and even though I love him Wayne were all that bad at their position with an NFL franchise.
