Is it too early to pregame??
No. You're  late. My pregame started a couple of days ago! ;D
you mean when the Dolphins played that awesome game against the Cowboys?

Yes, sir. Just happy to see them suit up again.  It will be interesting to see if Lamar Miller can hold onto the ball on the first play and I'm looking forward to seeing Mike Wallace rip up the Jags secondary for a series or two! ;D

Today is the start of food truck alley outside Gate 1.  Several food trucks will be lined up outside of the stadium before the game through the end of the 1st quarter for your tailgating fun!

You can take food into the stadium from one of the trucks as well.

Where are they setting up?
Springfield since 1998

Well I must say I love what I saw from our all of draft picks, especially Ace and Sanders However Gabbert looked awful. Henne looked better and more in control, but then he started making bad decisions. Our running game has returned. THAT was encouraging. Whatever that guys name is who missed that field goal needs to be stripped, beaten and thrown in the woods naked, and the guys that muffed those two punts needs to join him. Its the preseason after all, so Im not worrying about wins. Im pretty much in evaluation mode like the coaches. Lets see how everything shakes out.

Lol, can they at least be thrown in the woods with some clothing?  I know it's preseason but wondering how long the Gabbert experiment is going to go.  On the bright side for those who didn't want Tebow, he looked bad tonight too.

As for my Dolphins, I think we made a mistake letting Jake Long walk and deciding to rely on two unproven running backs.

I dont know. Ive always been on gabberts side, but I always like Henne when he plays. He looks confident and "looks" like he knows what hes doing. He makes smarts moves (most of the time, although he does have meltdown moments), he manages the clock, and he doesnt mind running out of the pocket to make a play. Overall, he looks like more comfortble and looks like an NFL QB. Honestly, the QB situation was my only concern last night. Not the offensive line, not the receivers. Until we get our QB situation fixed, were gonna keep having problems. On a side note, our running game is back!  ;D

3 points was the laying of a dud at the feet of fans. Lewis quoted in the paper, "we're working out the kinks", really? Gabbart and Henne throw 50-100x in practice, to look that bad on the field? Terrible. Gonna be a long season, nice to see we still cannot keep the ball, 4 turnovers.

I don't know about that.  Give it an extra week or two.  The Dolphins gave up over 5 yards a carry to the Cowboys earlier this week.

Oh, and Henne is a decent average QB.  He manages the game well and did so during his stay in Miami a few years back, but he's not taking anyone to the promised land. Anyway, at this point, he's still better than Gabbert, imo.

Gabbert is gone after this season, he has not improved at all. Taneyhill is in his 2nd season and he looked a helluva lot better, both in person and on TV for the fins.

It will be a long season if all we can say is our Punter and Punt Returner are the bright spots for the team. Henne should start next week.

What I found interesting was the trash talking by Blackmon which got his escorted off the field and into Bradley's office after the game. That kid needs someone to get in his ear and stay there all season. Drinking, getting injured, trash talking, is R. Jay Soward back in uniform?

Sounds like people are giving Henne way too much credit. Like Gabbert, he couldn't manage a TD drive either. Bottomline, if Gabbert does not improve this season, and we have to resort to Henne, this season is lost anyway. Henne is what he is (which maybe better than Gabbert BTW, but who cares if that's the case?) a stop-gap backup QB, and far from a playoff run QB. Lets not forget that Gabbert & Henne both shared one win apiece last year. As much as I wanna believe that Gabbert will be the man, if he keeps playing like he does, a QB the 2014 NFL Draft is looking like a very high possibly.

This season is already lost. Jags are in a rebuilding stage. They aren't getting anywhere near the playoffs this year. Just enjoy the growth.
