^^^Exactly. BSC is still bent outta shape that Jacksonville didn't persistently pursue the chosen one the second go around after he chose NYJ the first time. The Shadow League, oh brother! I never even heard of that crap until now; it's definitely NOT bookmark worthy.

So many middle aged men in Florida obsessed about this athlete in his mid-20's. Weird.

I have but one thought to share here:  recalling the Jags' previous season, what could it hurt to give Tbo a try??  Could they really do any worse?

Yes, they could.  Not just in on-field record but in appeasing horrible fair-weather fans while alienating the base.

Please check the Tebow thread for the graphically detailed explanations from NRW and me as to why  :)

The Jags made the switch to iPad playbooks this week.

I like it.

I like it.

Quite progressive - I must say I like the idea myself.

HOWEVER - if the same crap-ass plays go from hardcopy to iCopy, then there's been zero improvement.

But thats the thing, if hes not going to be an upgrade and make us better, why go through the headache of him being here?

Can we embrace anything without finding SOMETHING negative to say?

Former Jacksonville Jaguars standout Jimmy Smith currently is serving a six-year sentence in Mississippi prison for two charges, the Mississippi Department of Corrections confirmed Monday.

Former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jimmy Smith currently is an inmate in a Mississippi prison.

Smith is serving a four-year sentence for cocaine possession and two more years for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Smith had substance abuse problems throughout his NFL career. He was suspended four games in 2003.

It's a sad story, although not a shocking one for one of the top two or three greatest players in franchise history. The five-time Pro Bowl selection already had at least a few arrests related to substance abuse since his career ended in 2006. His retirement came as a surprise because he gained 1,000 yards in his final season.

At the time of his retirement, there were rumors that Smith had failed another drug test and would be suspended for a season. Smith would not directly answer questions about a possible failed drug test at the time.

Smith's tentative release date from prison is Nov. 8, 2018.

As if he haven't already killed his slim chances before this latest arrest, Jimmy definitely can kiss any thoughts of going into the Jaguars Ring of Honor goodbye.

Wow. In prison since March and the news media here just got wind of it? Why does that not surprise me?

The Jags WR curse seems worse than the Madden curse.

So much for the Ring of Honor don't you think?
