So who the hell was at the stadium today? The Jag's obviously had a bye.

Hard getting behind this team when we continue to get rolled at home EVERY home game. I pray that we at least show up for the Thursday night game and not let it turn into the Andrew Luck Show.

Im hyped for the game Thursday as if tomorrows game does not exist.

2013 can't get here fast enough. There's really nothing to comment concerning the 'play' on the field, as I left Everbank in the 3rd quarter. There were some interesting signs at the game; One said something along the lines of "David Garrard please lift the curse from the Jags". Then this one idiot had a 'FIRE OBAMA' sign; Bringing tea party politics to the game. *sigh*

I saw the David Garrard one, he wasnt sitting to far from me.

There will be an empty seat in section 221 on Thursday.  I'm not leaving the Bud Zone until we show up for a home game.  My only consolation will be those tasty pulled pork sandwiches.  Otherwise, if I wanted to spend $70 to drink beer and see some lazy Jacksonville folks not do their jobs, I'd buy a keg and go to a City Council meeting.

We had a pretty good turnout yesterday for a 1-6 team; I was pretty proud of the fans for that.

Justin Blackmon. Wow, what a dog. I haven't seen a guy get signed/drafted by this team and appear to give such little effort in a long time. This is Andre Rison/Jerry Porter bad.

Every aspect of his game. Running lazy routes, dropping passes, failing to get two feet in bounds. Once is an accident. Twice is a coincidence. Three times is a trend.

Yesterday was yet another example. On the INT by Gabbert. He didn't even try to go for the ball. And then after the Lion player intercepts it and is laying on the ground, he doesn't even put a hand on the guy so he is down. The DB gets up and begins to run it back. Parmele ran him down and made the tackle. The sideline catch. He made no effort to get his second foot down. That is the second game in a row that has happened. And the route running. Wow. As lazy as I have ever seen. I first noticed the jogging at the Bears game. The announcers pointed it out in Green Bay. We saw it again yesterday. Mularkey needs to bench this clown and start Robinson and Shorts the rest of the year.

Minor Threads made a Blackmon shirt which was a play on Batman. So far it seems like Blankman would be more appropriate.

My guess is Luck is going to shred the Jags secondary.  However, don't worry, the competition has evolved into a fight with Kansas City for the cellar.  With the worst scoring offense in the league, all it takes is two touchdowns for the opponent to put the game out of reach (coming from cocky Dolphin's fan, who admits his team is average at best).

That shirt sits in my closet.  I'm rocking the Anger jersey these days.

Gene Frenette just torched the Jags yesterday, giving them the lowest "report card" that I've ever seen him give for a game. F's in Rushing Offense, Passing Offense, Run Defense, Pass Defense, and Coaching, with a C+ for Special Teams. Can't say they don't deserve it. I think I may finally tap out for the season and hand my tickets off to a friend. It's just too damn depressing, especially when the people in stands seem to care more than the players on the field. Don't see how Khan has any other choice but a major shakeup in the offseason.

I think Mr. Khan is supposed to be on Jaguars All-Access tonight. It'll be interesting if hear if they ask him any real, pressing questions instead of fluff. I'd at least like to him vocally express his displeasure in how the season is going instead of hearing some spin.

I'll just repeat what I said a few weeks ago:

He's dead man walking. Khan knows he needs to shake things up. If they only win two or three games, I don't see how Khan can justify keeping Mularkey. I think Mularkey is probably a good coach and seems like a good guy but he is in a tough situation right now because he was a "Gene Hire". There have been one-and-done coaches before. Cam Cameron in Miami and Jim Mora in Seattle are recent examples that come to mind. We tried the new GM/same coach thing in 2009 and it is proving to be a failure.

And even when Gene was hired, he was an in-house promotion. Khan needs to look outside the building for his replacement. I look at Atlanta and Houston as examples. Both hired young assistant GM's from winning enviroments. They both hired their own coach and were allowed to get their own QB's as well. Khan needs to look at organizations like Baltimore, New England, Green Bay and the NY Giants and find some young gun. Let him hire the scouting staff, let him hire the coaching staff, let him pick his QB.

I will add one guy I have read about alot is Marc Ross from the Giants. He has run their drafts since 2007 and they might be the best drafting team in the league.

duvaldude08

I'll keep it short this week. Playing calling was terrible until the end of the game and Gabbert was not looking down field for the majority of the game. Somebody please fire somebody so Ill have something to smile about. LOL I think gene knows his time is ticking. After the trade of Thomas (somebody he drafted), I think that was the nail in the coffin. Gene's a nice guy, but this is the team he built. anyways, carry on!  ;D
