That's hideous.  There is such a thing as "too much" and I hope this was indeed done by a student or something.

I get the feeling that Weaver would sign off on something and then change his mind later, prompting another change shortly after.  Of all the Jags' countless unis over the years, their best look was their first look.  Simple, with all the colors and the timeless block numbers.  With the exception of the helmet, the current uniform looks weird, and I welcome a change.

I think it looks modern and is really sleak. I do have a few things about it I dont like though. but 9 out of 10 times if this is really the new design, it wont look EXACTLY like the rendering anyways.

In Jaguars and downtown news, Jeremy Mincey indicated on Facebook that he is opening a recording studio downtown.  Not sure of the location.

He was on Action Sports 360 a couple of weeks ago with local rising hip-hop artist J-Dash. Mince got some decent skills on the mic. Looks like he's taking this music thing seriously.

Anti redneck

Maybe black jerseys with teal numbers?

I just read the Bills have a spike in season ticket sales because of their big "splash" in free agency. Eh, Im not a fan out that. We sold the most new season tickets in 2010 without a big splash and coming off a 7-9 season. My fear of that kind of stuff is, if the splashes dont make the team any better, and they still leave with a losing record those same people will cancel the tickets the next year. And for the money they paid, they better reap the benefits. Mario Williams is SEVERELY overpaid. Lets hope he can play the entire season without getting injuried. I wish them the best though.

I was just watching highlights from 2010 when we played Dallas. We really kicked their ass that day. And Mercedea Lewis on completely on fire. I still dont understand how he fell asleep last season. I say is because of all the sudden QB changes. He had chemistry with garrad. Him and blaine could never get on the same page. They had alot of timing issues, and of course Mercedes just flat out dropping the ball too. Seems only Blaine and MJD had the connection.

Another obeservation, did anyone cacth what Mike Thomas was doing in 2010? He would make it look like he was calling for a fair catch, then he would take off running. He did that in the dallas game and the colts game. At first I thought it was just a mistake, but he kept doing it. Thats real slick  ;D

It's also illegal. Which surprised me that he was able to get away with it on more than one occasion. The rule seems pretty clear, but I guess it comes down to interpretation...

Yeah the refs do miss somethings for sure.

It makes for a more exciting game, so I'm not complaining!

QuoteI've been told that the #Jaguars have released DE Austen Lane, and will announce the move tomorrow.

I'm not mad about that move at all. He hadn't done crap since being here either. Only our 1st and 3round pick from 2010 remain on the roster now. Tyson and D'Anthony Smith.

Its definately time to move on from alot of these players. I understand we cant predict injuries, but when they sat on the roster for 2 and 3 years and havent even contributed, its truly a waste. Like Aaron Kampman? Do they expect some sort of miracle and God grant him two knew knees. ?Its time to cut the dead weight.

Jaguars cornerback Will Middleton became the final restricted free agent offered a tender to sign his tender. Middleton signed on Monday.

The Jaguars offered Middleton a fifth-round tender.

Middleton started six games last season due to various injuries to the Jaguars cornerbacks. He made 33 tackles and had an interception against the New York Jets last season.

He finished the season on injured reserve with a knee injury.

Middleton really stepped up when Mathis went out. Hes good for depth for sure.

I would agree with you if we had someone to replace him, but unfortunately we're kinda stuck with him right now. If it was up to me, I'll see what he got at training camp, because it's not gonna cost us anything; If he still is not making any progress in camp, then I'll make the move there and cut him.

He's honestly just holding a spot on the roster. Even at minimual cost, Im just curious as to why they have held on for him for two years. But I think this season if he cant play they will just cut ties with him. He's not benefiting the team in any capcity

Kampman is dead weight. He really needs to come back strong and hard, and do more than run his mouth in the media. If the Lane news is real, looks like we are losing Defensive Lineman, perhaps the Jags front office cleaning house and getting ready for some new blood?

Looks like we are trying to get back on " Hard Knocks". Havent been on since 2004 so it would be interesting to return. I actually JUST seen the one from 2004 the other night. (lol) I see organization is pulling out all stops to get us exposure as promised. It just kills me they are always talking about ratings. from what Ive seen, HBO has done Hard knocks with every team in the NFL. Im sure when we were on in 2004 it wasnt for ratings. But whatever the case Im glad that they are atleast trying.
