Quotelol can't remember who was saying they'd buy dinner for people purchasing new season tickets but uhhh at least you don't have to worry about that.

That was me.

I'll stand behind my words:  buy a Jaguars season ticket, I'll take you to dinner (only now no Tebow jersey).  Dinner will be on the beautiful St Johns River at Fionn MacCools.  Buy a season ticket and help out local businesses.

I care DEEPLY about this team and this town... and I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is.  I'm convinced (as were the Jags, twice) that these 'bring Tebow here and I'll buy tickets' chants were full of hot air.

Who's up for some shepherds pie and a local microbrew?   :)

What a weird week, and what a weird move by the Jets.

Time will tell on this one.

Gabbert had better come to play this season though, that's for sure.

If Tim fails in New York, and Gabbert excels, all will be forgiven.

If Tebow flourishes in New York and Gabbert has another season like last year, that's going to be a tough one to recover from.

Can't wait for football season, that's for sure.

The true fans can have their less than full stadium back now and you better beleive the Jags will be moving before long. This was a blown chance to get the stadium filled and no one on this board was looking beyond the end of their nose to see this. Cheer all you want now. Live it up. I would.  The Jets will be comming to town too. Better hope you know who doesn't have a career day.
Your tears, they taste like nectar.

Will be angry if Sanchez has a career day.

Agreed on Gabbert.  But how can Tim fail if he only runs 5-6 plays a game?

Glad this drama is over for now. It will return again and again until Tebow is finally a Jaguar. I support the team with or without Tebow.

All of the Tebow-maniacs always talk about too many people hating on him; They fail to realize that they're being hypocritical. Don't they all wanna see Gabbert fail so that their savior Timmy can snatch the starting QB spot from him? No one never says anything about the Gabbert-haters.

We loose out again. How dumb can the Jags be? I can now guarantee you another loosing season and the Jets will go into the palyoffs. I said it here first.

You even said that the Gabbert and Tebow were equal right? So that means that we would lose with either one of them, right?

If a city like Tampa who barely draws 40,000 fans to games and have only televised two games in two years is not moving, I am positive the Jags are packing bags anytime soon. Dan, I really can not believe you are speaking doom on the team because we dont want Tebow. How bout you really just stop commenting on the Jags period and go follow the Jets now

Fingers crossed ;D (at least for Gabbert!)

Personally, I would have brought in Tebow, but it's absolutely, batshit insane to see all of these people saying that Khan passing on Tim Tebow is part of some evil master plan to move the franchise to LA. I mean, come on. These people cannot possibly be serious.

CityLife

Tebow must have Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian's publicist.

He was traded for a 4th round pick. Two years after being taken in the first round. That is how little Elway and NFL GM's think of him....

You know these people are Nut Cases lol I think as an organization, you have to do what you feel is best for the long term, and I think that is what they did. The ones pressuring them about Tebow dont even support the Jags organization so their opinons really dont matter in my book. Im sure Khan has learned a huge lesson also early on, keep your mouth shut. You can not be 100% honest about everything. He has to learn how to dodge questions. And I think he is doing so.

It was so funny on Mike Dempsey what this caller said; This joker said that he would rather (hypothetically) have a 4-12 Tebow lead Jags, than a playoff team without him, I'm not kidding!!! That's the problem with these idiots, they should just stick to being Gator fans.

Now imagine if Gabbert threw a pick with him on the sidelines....

I think his fanbase is actually hurting more than helping.
