The probelm with "time will tell", is that the Jags really don't have time to tell. If BG is a  bust, we will most likley find out midseason or so next year. That is  too late to do anything, so 2012 is a waste. Great, so lets draft a new QB in 2013. It will most likley take him until mid 2013 to develope, so 2013 may or may not be a playoff caliber team. 2014 would seem to be the best bet for a playoff caliber team in this scenario. Will Kahn be patient through 3 years of barely selling out games like this?

None of us can predict the future. So theres no need to speculate. It is what it is. What will be will be. As long as we sell tickets and we dont lose money, this team isnt going anywhere. And if it was, it wouldnt be anytime soon. So you can that in all honesty. We need to improve the team, but lets kill the "what if get moved" thing. Thats plagued our city too long. No team has ever been moved because they were losing. Its pretty much always been because of stadium issues. So please can the move talk

PS and for someone who never goes to games you sure like to say attendance is struggling. Sorry but the 5 games youve been to over your lifetime dont count. We have not struggling more than any other team this year. I wish people would stop acting like losing and ticket sales are only a Jacksonville issue, beecause it is not. Sometime we are just as bad as the national media.

Kudos for Everbank Field's hilarious entrance music for the visiting teams, I'll try to name the specailized entrance music for the visiting teams. Help me out if you know any more.

SD (and I guess SF, and OAK) Katy Perry's 'California Gurls'(Even though SD made us look like FL Gurls).

CIN (and I guess DET, and CAR) an indistinguishable cutsy 'meow, meow, meow' kitty cat song.

TEN (Dueling Banjos, probably the funniest).

I-10..  I wish I could take credit for all of the visiting teams intro, but I can't....  (I will take credit for the Dueling Banjos)

Game day production and this years interns have had a hand in these selections.  We try to think out side of the box, and it has become a little "inside" joke.    Some fans don't even get it, but others get it....

Seriously, what is your issue with me? It is true I abrely go to games. I cannot afford to, nor is that a priority for me at this point in my life. I enjoy watching football on TV and watch when  I can. I enjoy all football, not just Jags football. I refuse to feel any guilt for not supporting our team. It is not my civic duty to do so. I am glad for the people who can afford to go, but for you to bring up people who can't go without knowing situations or reasosns is just plain wrong.
Also, not talking about attendance and moving is like not talking about the elephant in the room. Until the tarps come off and those 10,000 seats are filled as well, then this will always be a topic. Sure other teams suffer as well because of our economy, but like you said, it is what it is. We are percieved as a city that cannot sell out its stadium and needs help every week by businesses buying up large blocks of tickets. If you think we can continue status quo and not have to worry about the team moving, then you are only kidding yourself. To be secure, we need the tarps removed and those seats sold too. We also need major help in the Club seating.
I will not mention what I beleive would have given us many more ticket sales, as that has been discussed ad naseum. Since 2003, we have beena team that just compeltely blows it on personell picks. We have been terrible. It shows year in and year out when we are outmatched and out performed time and time again. We are doing well for having such a  piss poor product every year. I will give us that. We have a larger core season ticket base than Tampa. This stale product we offer now will hopefully be completely revitalized this offseason. That to me would goa  long way in selling tickets.

Folks, it is simple...if you don't want the team to move, then help do your part.

Tickets can be bought for as little as $35-40 officially (often less from scalpers)....plus the past 2 years, the Jags have offered deals for single game tickets that can be purchased through charities, with $10 going to the charity!

Dan trust me I dont have an issue with you personally. I have an issue that your opinions are never based on facts. For example, about the tarp issue. The nfl never expceted us to pack out at 77,000 seat stadium. The city wanted the stadium that large to keep the Florida-Georgia game here. Of course when were filling it, it was no problem, the NFL is not going to complain about money. However, the tarps allowed us to reduce the stadium capacity to a managable for a market this small. Even at our reduce capcity we are selling more tickets than citys that are bigger and have smaller stadiums.

Also, we are the only city that has businesses buying tickets. We are actually the only dummies that werent doing it for quite sometime. We are acutally just cacthing on to what other teams have been doing for decades. There were only two games this when that occured. The Bengals game (which Busch also has done this for several team this year, not just us) and the game last night tickets were bought. We are actually doing much better than alot of teams right now, Im just sick of the perception that our franchise is in such despair. And as someone else posted, as long as we support the team and they keep making money, its not going anywhere. That might be your dream, but its not mine Dan. And im not trying to be mean, but I cant take the opinion of someone who sits behind the TV and nick pick and find things to complain about seriously.

what is more simple is to put a product on the field that people want to see.  seems to me the writing of the team sale has been on the wall.  30+ million below the spending limit.  WW lining his pockets with as much cash as possible in the past few years.  the giant profits WW make on the sale.  blaming the city for not supporting the team.  maybe WW needed to support the team before the fans by making good draft choices and giving us something worth watching.  i have only been to three games this season and the ravens game was the least painful to witness.  had free tickets to last monday night's game, passed and am happy i did.  watching blaine scared and in the fetal position on the ground and a no name rookie secondary looking lost is not my idea of fun.  the jags have become embarrassing this season.

New owner:  Take note of what ww has done the past few seasons and do the opposite.  Please give us a team we can be proud of and entertaining to watch!

Im just trying to get everyone to see that whinning and complaining does nothing but make your self miserable. We can talk all day and but nothing we can say or do can change whats going on right now. Ive said it time and time again, this is the pain of being a NFL fan. It feels good when you are winning and/or making the playoffs. But its hurts like hell when you are at your worse. It happens.

Your oversimplification of every criticism related to the Jags is truly maddening.

There's a comfortable median between being overly critical and completely burying your head in the sand in regards to glaring, obvious problems.

I never said we didnt have problems. The next  coach is going to have a field day trying to figure out how to undo this mess. My whole point is, personally Im sick of complaining and tired of hearing of others as well. It solves nothing. Thats all Im saying in a nut shell. Us repeating the same thing week in and week out is doing what?

My favorite was I'm Like A Bird for the Ravens.  I-10, a few others I remember - Tweety Bird sound bites for the Cardinals, and the Mr. Ed theme for the Colts.
