I want Alvin to win but let's be careful not to demonize Hogan in our mind.  Ok so he dreams he can blow up people in healthcare facilities and believes churches feel the same way but don't.....Wait you know what think what you will and do everything you can to get him out of Government.

Does anyone here have some psychic abilities? Specifically the power to touch someone and see into their future? Maybe you fell into a frozen pond as a child and when you awoke discovered this new found capability.

An accurate rifle and strong stomach will be needed as well... if my suspicions are correct.
And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.

If I could have barfed on Brown's shoes at San Juan and Roosevelt, I would have.

If Brown had been standing at San Juan and Roosevelt 2 weeks ago, I would have posted then too. Sorry, just saw him after my Chick-Fil-A sandwich, I almost hurled it onto he and his posse.

When asked if Jacksonville was ready to elect a black democrat to Mayor the Magic 8 ball responded, " Ask again in 40 years."

They said that 15 years ago when we had an election for Sheriff. Seems that turned out quite a bit different then everyone, including this writer, thought it would.

Sure.  So let's see if Jacksonville can do it.

But like the Metro pointed out in the piece that started this thread - 8 years ago Nat Glover wasn't able to transform his name recognition and tenure as sheriff into a Mayoral Election victory.  So how then will Alvin Brown - sans the name and city experience - be able to pull it off?

I hope he has a chance but win or lose we have to deal with what we get.  I feel like the Jacksonville voter has been informed that Brown is the better candidate but judging by my office they do not want to hear it.

Neat Stuff! I am amazed that the board has 4-5 Hogan threads and No Brown threads. Interesting....

Well, until Brown tries to take his brother-in-law's amateur sports team to Russia at taxpayer expense, or else gives a speech declaring how he wants to bomb abortion clinics, then there's just a lot more to talk about with Hogan.
