Running Clubs?

I'm looking for a running club (running social club?) in Riverside/Downtown/San Marco. I inquired with 1st Place Sports but their club sounds like more of a "get discounts and race reminders" or something. I'm looking for more of a club that meets up once or twice a week for a decent jog. And maybe a beer afterwords or something (probably counterproductive to running but, what the hell).

I have a few friends in Pensacola that are part of a club/group that do just what I described above. Anyone know of anything like that around here?

Did you look online at 1st Place Sports? They have a section that has Running clubs, and links to the sites.
