Holy cow have they screwed that up. By limiting the feeder to San Marco Blvd to one lane traffic was backed up almost to I-10 this morning, going start doing the Riverside Ave hustle, but thats ridiculous.

is this a new phase of the construction?

since southbound San Marco has been closed for months, they have had the lanes narrowed and forcing traffic by the Ronald McDonald House.

Yeah they changed it around last week. Northbound traffic on San Marco Blvd is now traveling on the left side of the road, they're going to start work on the other half of it.  The intersection with the 95 south off-ramp is a bit confusing at first, it's different than it was during the first phase of construction. I had a few people come at me head on while driving North on San Marco blvd the other day.

I'm not even surprised anymore...*shrug*

I've started avoiding this area during rush times. Hope to heck it is finished before they start tearing down I-95 for the overland bridge replacement.

looks like they opened it backup to two lanes. But Riverside Ave still seems to be the smart best until this is all finished. Getting back on my bike would be an even smarter bet.

I avoid this area.  Coming from Riverside, all you have to do is take the Acosta to Hendricks and you bypass the entire thing.  Anyone know how this will affect the River Run?

Sadly, we won't be running by 'San Marco Beach' (aka Riverfront Park) this year because of the construction.  The course takes Hendricks from the Southbank and turns west on Atlantic, goes through the Square (which will be cool) and then picks up the traditional course at Landon Park.
