Become a Member of Preservation SOS!

Log on to http://forum.preservationsos.org, create a user name and password, and then sign up to become an official member of Preservation SOS in Historic Springfield!  Most certainly you can peruse the site first and determine if you would like to join.  There is no membership fee as membership is solidified with volunteerism.  We have a Make it Happen Project coming up on November 20th, you know you want to come out and help "Save Our Springfield!"  Join today! Additionally, I believe we will have membership forms at the Make It Happen! event so you could sign up and get your volunteer hours at the same time if it is easier for you.  (Springfielder??)

However, you don't have to be a member to participate.

There are actually two levels of membership. The first is what everyone starts off at.  Everyone is a regular member until they do the required amount of volunteerism.  So, even if you feel you can not put in the time, you can show your support of what we do and what we stand for by clicking on the link and filling out a simple form. 

Also, just in case anyone thought they joined the organization by joining the forum, you do have to click on the button at the top of the website and file out the other form to be come a regular member.

What you gain by donating those precious volunteer hours, besides that warm feeling it will give you, is the right to vote and the right to hold an office with the organization. We are also holding our first ever elections this coming December, so now is the time to come join us. Also, because we are so new, anyone who helped us in any way during the past months at our Make it Happen or any of the other projects and worked at least one hour, is a full member and can vote and hold office.  We know who you are, so what are you waiting for?

Look at what we have accomplished in just a few short months.  Just think what we can accomplish with just a bit of your help in the coming years.
