Keith bothers me sometimes as well.  I think the key difference is that fewer of the Olberman people are likely to start a murdering spree.

Nice... ::) No partisan hackery there...
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Well it's kinda obvious. The The Department of Homeland Security didn't warn law enforcement officials about a rise in "angry liberals," rather they warned of "rightwing extremist activity."

Perhaps it is time for a State controlled media. Dissenting opinions on all sides should not be allowed. Perhaps this  local message board should be shut down (gotta admit we do have varying opinions on here and God forbid a nut job signs on) Yep, then the world will be a better place.

Whoops forgot. It has been tried many times and never works out very well.

Here is an interesting take on Beck by David Brooks in Friday's NY Times:
"The Wizard of Beck"
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/02/opinion/02brooks.html

Brooks contends that the "talk jocks" may have a lot of listeners, but that it doesn't translate to any power at the ballot box.

Here is a quote:
QuoteThe rise of Beck, Hannity, Bill O’Reilly and the rest has correlated almost perfectly with the decline of the G.O.P. But it’s not because the talk jocks have real power. It’s because they have illusory power, because Republicans hear the media mythology and fall for it every time.

And so is Rush, Sean, Ann the ?, and Karl Rove. What the GOP has on there side is Crazy! I love the Fact that with Obama in office fox news doesn't have an inside to the White House. For eight years gwb and DICK could pump out all there Hate night after night. Now I get to sit back and relax.  8)
