QuoteWhat?? Now I want a Cream Ale though haha. Hurry up 5:30!

Me Too! :D
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

How about Sherwoods, Endo Exo, Locals, and the former Tastings/Wine Bar (assuming it's not still closed!!) in San Marco?

In Riverside, Walkers and Kickbacks are right across the street(s) from Park Place, so it might be easy enough to just pop in and do a review.

For Avondale-ish area... Eclipse and The Brick as well.

A comparison of "Happy Hours" would make a good investigation and article as well... :)

I was sort of thinking the same thing.  While it's nice to see a tour of places to go on a specific night of the week... I may also know that I want to go to one of three places (regardless of the night) and would prefer to know ahead of time which of those three places has the best pricing.  Some places post their regular specials on their website or Facebook - but not everyone does.

For example, Casbah has Wino Wednesday - which is buy a $20 bottle of wine (limited selection) and get a free single flavor hookah.  On a regular night, that same purchase would cost $36 - $38.  Sunday afternoons from 3 - 7 they have 1/2 price hookahs.

Sometimes these reviews can bring about "inside info" that isn't largely publicized, so it's nice to find that sort of stuff out.

Right now Jennifer is scoffing at this thread and wondering how long she'll have before sclerosis of the liver sets in.

Here would be my coverage:

“Holy God, my brain….

Uh, went out to a couple places. Drank. You know what? I don’t remember. It was probably fun. Going back to sleep now. Hope you enjoyed this review”
Conformulate. Be conformulatable! It's a perfectly cromulent deed.

I don't own enough ill-fitting button down shirts (untucked of course) and loafers to go to Mark's.

well ideally, the reviewers should include people that wouldnt normally go to that kind of establishment
its a sure fire way to tell how friendly the crowd actually is.

No, I won't go to Mark's for a follow up review, Stephen.

tree.  too funny.  spit out green tea reading this.

David, maybe you'd like to do a club crawl with us?

great additions to the list. Steph, what else is out in san marco?

Sure,  I already cross paths with you guys when I do go out, but usually i'm just getting there as you guys are leaving or vice versa.

What's next, Plush? Bourbon St Station?

TPC

Since a lot of people were talking about getting a Bold City Creme Ale, I think their anniversary is Saturday, Oct 3rd with $2 pints.

I want to go to some "ghetto" drinking spots...does metrojax have life insurance policies for their forum posters/amateur reviewers?
