Facebook Petition for the Jaguars to get Tim Tebow!

Anyone check out this group on Facebook? It appears to be run by a student at UNF who got a bunch of people at UNF to join up as members. The premise being that everyone in this group is going to buy season tickets if Tebow is drafted? I'm sure Wayne Weaver is buying that.

The irony is everyone complains how the Jags offense is all slants and 5-yard dump passes, with only occasional shots downfield.  Isn't that the majority of UF's offense, plus the option and over-matched opponents for half the season?

Not their fault nobody is at Florida's level.  Their schedule is predominately determined by SEC pairings, so beyond their control.  I guess we could play Texas for the season opener, but I doubt they would agree to that.

Then who schedules Charleston Southern, Troy, and FIU?

Don't get me wrong;  I'm aware everyone does it.  It's just as wrong for other top-tier teams to schedule weak opponents.

I agree, mainly because it wasted 4 spaces for good games when I was in undergrad. Apparently the visiting lesser teams get paid plenty, other common excuses, etc.......  That is one area where college football falls short.
