Is there no Gators or NFL forum where your opinion might be welcomed?

Always glad to help.

Some shallow, fair weather fans that think he is God. How unsurprising.

Well he did post this in the sports forum...;)

We already have a running QB that cannot pass downfield. If anybody evaluated Tebow honestly, they would see he has many shortcomings. Watch the game vs. Tennessee. As an NFL quarterback, he was terrible.

True. My apologies.

I have heard this debate ad nauseum. Not his fault.

Correct, he honestly looked afraid to pass downfield, as the Vols defense was quite strong and had good chances of picking it off.

What Tennessee on Saturday is what every NFL team would do but with better athletes. There are defensive ends in the NFL that are just as good an athlete as Tebow is.

I hear ya, there's a few posts and threads I would like to never have to see again as well....

And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.

For a franchise QB that is playing right now, I'd honestly look away from Timmy. Colt McCoy from Texas, Sam Bradford at OU, Jevan Snead at Ole Miss are just a few that are better "true" QBs. Tebow would be better as a RB or something of the sort.

Why would the Jags want a QB who against Tennessee ran the same play 75% of the times...the option run or run up the middle in the same exact set everytime.  They ran that play ALL THE TIME.  That will NEVER work in the NFL

copperfiend

I believe that after the Senior Bowl, the NFL Combine and UF Pro Day that Tebow will not be a first round pick. I think he could slide quite a bit. There will probably be at least a half dozen QBs that get drafted before him.

You won't being seeing the Tebow that we've all known the past 2 years. The Gators do not want him running every time he can, which in the NFL will get you injured. They're training him for the NFL at the same time as well as protecting their golden egg as best they can.
