Profound Innovations Ahead #1
QuoteTrue mind-reading devices remain in the realm of science fiction, and lie detectors rely on indirect cues to catch fibbers. Still, brain scans have allowed neuroscientists to predict what people will do during specific task experiments, and even to observe when a person will make a mistake up to half a minute beforehand. Another technique has used near-infrared light to figure out simple preferences based on brain activity. These feats rely on analyzing brain patterns that occur during specific actions, rather than truly cracking the brain's neural code, but they still have scientists and legal experts debating mind-privacy issues. Perhaps in the near future, they'll just use Twitter for a meeting of minds.

Doesn't surprise me.  All of "Big Brother's" technological tools, toys, and security gimmicks will soon be put to use in a big way.  Especially after the soon to happen "great disappearance," and then the World Dictator (666) will use all of these in addition to chip implants (or marks) to control all of the human population worldwide.

buckethead

I don't buy it.

I was actually a participant in that very research. They hooked me up to read my mind, but were unable to detect any activity whatsoever.

Dog Walker

That's because your buckethead is galvanized!  If you were a plastic buckethead they would not have any problems at all.   LOL!
When all else fails hug the dog.

Mind Reading Machines, Chip implants hooked up to GPS containing ALL of your personal info, biometric chips to monitor your thoughts, health condition, Television sets with a built in audio and video monitor that's hearing and looking at you while you are watching it, etc., all of these things are a part of the New World Order to come where someone, somewhere, in authority will know who you are, what you are, where you are, what you are saying, what you are doing, what you are seeing, and what you are thinking.  There is nothing they won't know about everyone if the world goes on without us all being a part of the upper atmosphere.

Here is another twist on the subject, also covered by 60 Minutes, machines controlled by the brain that will enable the disabled to communicate and function more fully:
