Downtown Businesses Growing too Fast For Area - What!?!?!?!?!?

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Nikki G's has been serving Italian specialties since this year's Florida Georgia game in October. Local firefighters made the store possible, but are now putting the shop up for sale on Craiglist.com

The owners are offering Nikki G's for $250,000. For that amount, you get 80 percent of the entire business.

Managers said they are looking to expand and possibly branch out. Other downtown businesses are said to be doing the same.

Recently, both the Daniel James Salon and Legal Artworks have left downtown and have moved into bigger offices. According to Downtown Vision, many of Jacksonville's older businesses are growing too big and they are moving to accomodate demand.

Managers at Nikki G's said whoever buys the place will be a welcome addition to the downtown business front.

Okay, Nicky G's (not Nikki G's) isn't leaving downtown to expand, it's for sale, and Daniel James Salon and Legal Art Works both expanded to other locations DOWNTOWN.  They didn't leave downtown, they just moved into bigger spaces downtown.

umm.. CBS 47 has the story wrong.  None of these guys left downtown.  They just relocated into larger spots in downtown.

Then they got the shops wrong. Everyone they mentioned in the article did not leave downtown.

I just checked out the video on the link.  This is actually a positive story about businesses moving and expanding to downtown.  In addition to Nicky G's, Danial James and Legal Art Works, Mavericks, Chamblins and a company that just moved 650 employees into the Aetna Building were also mentioned.
