5-Points Coffee

Alva (who is on this board) opened up 5-Points coffee right next to steamworks. It's been open for a few weeks and despite being to Steamworks about a brazillion times I finally went in last night.

I'm not sure what brand he's using.. I think it's bold bean.. but he makes a mean cup of coffee and some darn tasty food. I got a bite of turchicken that Alva made last night from Jean and it was bomb-diggity. Also nice not having to walk to starsucks for a cup of coffee.

He's got plenty of large tables, so I'm going to talk to some of my geekier friends about organizing a game night. It seems like a great space for it.

We went there Monday night after the Wallflowers show - I had my little girl with me & they were very accommodating - even threw together a snazzy raspberry drink & encouraged her to draw on the "work of art" that was already on the huge chalkboard.  They indicated that they were open till 3 am that night/morning - very cool.

Cool.  Ill have to check it out.    3am, eh?   That leaves some time for coffee after a night at starlite... MMmmmm...
