Ocklawaha did get what you wanted for Christmas.

This is from a card bj was giving out one year:

I really wanted tokens for the Jacksonville Streetcar System, but it didn't happen.
I wished for a ticket on the commuter train from St. Augustine, but it didn't happen.
I begged for a day trip to New York on the Palmetto, but it was cut to Savannah.
I wrote that I'd ride the train to Gainesville, but no one responded.
I wanted to visit the Skyway at the Stadium, but the ride ended at Hogan.
I rushed to catch Amtrak to Orlando, but was nearly mowed down by a bus on MLK...

I went to Christmas Eve service at a Lutheran Church in Jacksonville Beach, and found the peace of the season and the promise of time eternal... We will win this battle.
