that's not too bad...considering Miami, Tampa, and Orlando are all in worse shape

They only looked at the 50 largest metro areas so 17 is on the bad side of the middle but basically in the same mess as everyone else.

Well...thats 34th out of 50. I understand your point that this does not mean 17th worst of all cities in the country, but at the same time, it's not 17th worst of the best 50 either. You could extrapolate this as the bottom 34th percentile in the country...which is NOT good.

That said, it's a stupid ranking and I by no means put much credence into it. It's just fun to look at the stats for what they are.
