Jacksonville Ranks # 9 on Angriest Cities List

I usually count anywhere from 3-6 cars running those left hand red lights when my lights green. If you were to actually gun it as soon as your light is green then yeah, you'd get t-boned by the impatient left turners.

Some of the left turn lanes in town are brutal though. They'll give you a green light for 10 secs, then make you wait a few minutes before the next cycle.

I can totally see why Jax is on the list. Yeah, the light at University and Philips where you turn south on to Philips? Not only is the light horribly timed, you have T.U. "Paper bums" or "targets" as I like to call them, standing in the middle of the road trying to push you a paper.

That's enough to make me want to kill someone.

With a little thought, its easy to see why people are mad in all these cities:

1. Orlando - Mad at tourists.
2. St. Pete - Mad at retired old folks.
3. Detroit - Mad at overpaid auto workers AND winless football teams.
4. Baltimore - Mad at playing second fiddle to nearby Washington DC.
5. Nashville - Mad at rockers crossing over to country music.
6. Wilmington, DE - Mad at playing second fiddle to nearby Philadelphia
7. Miami - Mad at too few English speaking residents.
8. Memphis - Mad that Elvis isn't still around.
9. Jacksonville - Mad at (see Metro Jacksonville's many threads!)
10. St. Louis - Mad the most famous company in town is now owned by Europeans!
11. Chicago - Mad Obama hasn't made the city the new National Capital.
12. Tampa - Mad they are next to even madder St. Pete.
13.  Jackson, MS - Mad they are stuck in the middle of Mississippi.
14. Albuquerque, NM - Mad that too many people confuse their state with Mexico, the country.
15. Charlotte - Mad someone called this Nascar macho town the Queen City.
