Anybody here go to the games regularly?  We are now an affiliate of the Florida Marlins.  The Suns are also celebrating 25 years of ownership by the Bragan family...

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

The Suns should have excellent talent again. The Marlins tradionally have had a great farm system much like the Dodgers did the last few years.

I can't say I go regularly, as it cuts into my studio schedule, but I do attend when I can.  Thirsty Thursdays are a dreamy memory, but I love the Friday night games.  Win or lose, there's fireworks to be had!

Good times at the ol' ballpark!

There should be a MetroJacksonville night at the ballpark; whether it be formal or informal. Perhaps a night when all the forum members get together on a Thirsty Thursday or a Friday or Saturday night.

Excellent idea!  Maybe we can take the Skyway downtown after the game  :D

When I'm in town I always try to make a couple of games.  Gave up on MLB after the 94 strike but still enjoy the minor league games.   Have fond memories of watching the jacksonville Expos back in the mid to late 80's some of the best team ever to play in jax.  Remeber watching Randy Johnson scaring the hell out of the batters.

I was thinking the same thing...

Suns games are great! cheap tickets and food. I always have a good time. The ballpark is nice too!

I'm really looking forward to going to the games this year.  Hopefully by April, I will be livining in either the SM Place or Peninsula, I will hope the water taxi over and hit the games.  I'm a big Marlins' fan.  I lived in Miami from 2000-2003 and attended game 5 of the WS against the Yankees.
Thinking about moving to Downtown.  Soon to be divorced, tired of yard work and want to live closer to Jags games and everything that Jax has to offer.

I wanna see how many cheesy cliches that I can say concernin' the Suns.

Yeah, get em' guys!! The boys of summer are finally here!!

Baseball never been hotter!!!

The Suns are better then ever!!!

Time to head to the BGOJ and pick up a bobblehead doll, and enjoy some action on the diamond!!!

Sorry about the pointless post.

Seriously, though I enjoy going to the Suns games; I haven't been there in a while.

One of the great things about living in the Cathedral district is the short walk to the Baseball Grounds.  If MJ organizes a Suns game meetup give us some advance notice so I can take the night off work.

The Ivy is the offical sponsor and after party of Thirsty Thursdays this year.

I was dissapointed that the suns didn't resurrect the huge sun that was out in the outfield, and displayed the sl and ml score in the 70's, pure 70's kitsch.  The stadium is great and look forward to seeing a few games this year

Easier to cheer for the Marlines down I-95 than to cheer on the Dodgers clear down I-10.

Opening night tonight! I'm really not into the games too much but it is a beautiful evening to be out at the park. Not a huge fan of 'Thirsty Thursdays", the beer lines are impossibly long. Should be fun though.
And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.
