I'd rather be UN-Wise! Get Wise Gone!

Okay, so in less than 8 hours we should know what the Board will do about Wise. Now get this... Eris Smith, the new Commissioner of Education for the State of Florida, worked for about a year for AP, also known as the College Board (http://collegeboard.com), is a "buddy" of Wise, and word has it that Wise has his eye on his former job with them. If not with them, then perhaps one of the many other educational service companies that lavished money upon him recently.
So, why would Wise by so rude and vocal about Brenda Priestly-Jackson? Well, after she has been so critical of his bad attitude, and after Tommy Hazouri has asked Wise to resign, and after 100 teachers show up at a School Board meeting in flooding rain to speak out, maybe he knows he's in trouble and on the way out and wants to get fired so he can sue the Board for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Joey Wise doesn't give a damn about our kids, he just wants to leave Duval County with a nest egg courtesy of the resources that are supposed to go to educating and serving our kids. He has removed anyone who questioned him, installed friends into high paying positions and boosted salaries of his friends and appointees, burdened our teachers with so much self justifying paperwork they no longer have the time or ability to properly teach, so much that we are losing good people, and the joy of teaching is gone.
Now, if you don't keep kids in school, you hurt society, but if you get rid of kids who are at risk or failing, your test scores look higher. We were doing better every year until he showed up. Our dropout rate is still way too high, and our society and city will suffer for years upon years as a result.
And why did he spend school resources to give himself a positive and fake high rating? Maybe it is resume' building? Our School Board has bent over backwards trying to get him to be a team player, but not with Wise. There is also the rumor that he installed his boyfriend and boyfriend's sister or something into key positions, and I don't know if this is a fact...but I wouldn't doubt it. The fact that someone would consider it, that you wouldn't doubt it, is something that should bother anyone.
If you know who I am, you know I have fought the School Board. First to save Normandy Elementary, a school that scored an "A" while others surrounding it scored a "C", and even took the Board to court over it. I am currently fighting to get air conditioning made mandatory on any new school bus entering into service and to insure that kids can carry water when it gets hot. (http://busheat.blogspot.com)  There are few people as vocal confronting or fighting the Board as I am.
Despite this, I feel that even when I don't agree with them that they are a body of sound and reasonable thinkers who deeply care for our kids and their future. They have my respect, and for me to stand in solidarity with them, supporting them and placing a hold on taking them to court again until this issue passes, there has to be something very critical to make me choose this path.
The critical thing is the best interests of our kids, which I trust our Board will seek and provide. Wise I see as a mistake, a problem, and something sub-human that simply put needs to be erased from the Jacksonville landscape.
Wise has wasted resources, padded himself and his friends in luxury while teachers spend limited time and money, sometimes out of their own pockets, to teach our kids. He has created an atmosphere of fear and frustration that is evil in a free society, and to top it off he is a rude little man with no character or integrity.
I support the Board, and hope they install Ed Pratt-Dannals, who has worked for DCPS a good while now and has a great understanding of the needs of our district. He has integrity, and someone who is serving over kids in education should be held to a higher standard. Ed Pratt-Dannals surpasses that standard.
I think the Board wants Wise gone, but doesn't want him leaving with any more money after he has wasted so much. I think he has violated his contract, because he has treated teachers like dirt and hurt their ability to educate. Not much else needs to be said. These things are fact. I may be off on a little, but not by much at all, and just the level of anxiety our teachers now have is enough to give him a pink slip... let him wear it out the door. He'd probably like how it looks on him.
Please contact the College Board and ask that they not hire this monster, so he can't hurt any more kids or hurt education like he did in Delaware and now here: here are the email addresses for the Board of Trustees for the College Board:

Do you want the job or something gezz?  Do you know Mr. Wise? Do you know where he lives?  Off a little, um, a lot.  Sounds like you're bickering which is obvious from your statements above. Posting email address--really I normally wouldn't bother to respond to such trash but that's bad.  Remember that line in Saving Private Ryan.  "You bicker up."  Do us a favor, call your boss and tell him about it.  Clearly you're not in a position to talk intelligently on matters of this nature or matters of any nature to be exact.

Yes I do know where he lives, and I have spoken to 17 teachers, and about that amount in staff and DCPS downtown personnel. I know he is supposed to make emails like Florida thunderstorms make wet, and has not responded to one email or phone call about the bus air conditioning issue when I was still being nice about it. But ait a sec, YOU'RE IN AUSTIN!!!
I've kept an eye on a good deal of this for a while, and that 17 teachers does not include the hundred or so I watch parade up one by one complaining last Board meeting, or the people who have expressed their concerns other times I've been down at DCPS, or the four school police officers who share this view.
Maybe from inside the bottle you can't see the tequila, but from the outside you can see the worm, and the worm can make you sick. I reflect almost 40 opinions, with just one thinking he is "okay". "Okay" is not good enough for our kids. Even if the scuttlebutt is wrong, the fact that so much of it abounds says something. There are people who hate the Board just because they are an elected body and things are not right downtown. But do you know Jacksonville??? Aren't you in Austin???
As I said, I often disagree with them, but I do at least respect them. So, if you are so bold, what do you know of any substance that you can add to the debate...with facts and examples.... silent much?
If you notice I use my real name, with a real way to get a hold of me. I don't post or hide behind some avatar name or false identity. Have you spoken with teachers? Have you spoken with professionals in cirriculum or administration? I have, and they all say the same thing...ooops, except for one, who said he was "okay".
Oh, and Gatorback? Your profile says you're in Austin Texas, and your email is "hidden". Any fool can shout from the dark. I am interested in how much you know about it, or if you have been to a school and/or talked to any teachers lately...... I actually am well informed on quite a few things, and wouldn't speak out unless I thought my position was sound, and I am able to admit when I'm wrong. Yes, I DO have a problem with how things are right now, and Wise is clearly the source of the bulk of what is wrong with DCPS.
But I guess you can have your distant opinion.... In Austin, Texas!!!!

And while some of you seem okay, I see attitudes like Rush listening am talk radio closed minded 6 year olds....  My 11 year old son has more respect and doesn't have to hide his identity or resort to childish taunts to get a point across... oh, that's right, you had no point, and nothing good to bring to the table.
