How was the downtown nightlife scene this past weekend?

It was pretty good - Mark's and Dive Bar seemed to have a pretty good crowd (I walked by, but didn't go in)

I wonder if JSO will close every street except State and Union?

It's funny you should mention that.  After the game, I went home in the peak of the traffic exiting the stadium, and it was the fastest I've ever left the sports complex.  The funny thing - it seemed like less streets were closed.

On a side note, every meter within 300 miles of the landing had a bag on it or a JSO car parked at it.

i was at tsi that night and it seemed like there were less people than normal.  of course, the usual crowd at tsi seems like the type that would be turned away by large football crowds.

The city closed off all the on street parking and charged $5 to use the courthouse parking lot, which is normally free at night.

There were less people on Bay Street than a regular night.

i think by the time i made it to tsi, they had re-opened the on-street parking, but i could see how it could cut down the patronage.
