There is an interesting paradox in the numbers - They speak to our souls.

#25 is all about how we have buried our historic city - heritage - culture - EVERYTHING under the dirt.

#1 is all about how we all wish we had our historic city - heritage - culture - EVERYTHING that is now under the dirt.

DAMN! FLASHBACKS...
Being in the wrong waiting room at Union Terminal because some nut didn't think my skin had a color!
Driving on the railroad tracks in LaVilla
Playing on the freight deck of the Atlantic and East Coast Terminal Station
Going to the top floor of many buildings that are no longer there.
Walking along the rotting wharfs and docks, all the old, old ships, some sunk at the dock in downtown.
Playing PIRATE on the same ships
Running like hell from the security guard.
Those slippery blue glazed brick streets on the hill downtown
Visiting the FLORIDA-HAVANA STEAMSHIP where the Strand sits today

Those were all great stories, and I am thankful for them. I think one article should be added. The article outlining a proposed expansion of the skyway was easily my favorite of the year. Thanks for everything you do, Ennis.
