Agreed...we need something different, where it doesn't look like we're just doing some knock off from them

Yeah I agree, but what could that be? Definitely not pom-poms. The wiggle stix were ok, but they are not an every game type of thing. The thing is though is that when I look around the league, I can't really think of anything that fans of other teams do as far as having a signature fan move. Most teams just aren't defined by their fans. With the exceptions being the Dogpound in Cleveland, the Lambau Leap in GB, and the crazies out in Oakland.

I see alot of other fans from other teams waving towels, but I guess that does belong to the Steelers. The pom poms were ok because during the halftime show they did look good, even though none of that was shown during halftime. Has anyone else noticed that many people are waving white towels at the Jaguar games. I am going to get there early so I can get a teal towel, havent been able to find one at Jagmania.

jbm32206

I would think that they sell them at the game....

Keith-N-Jax

Yeah thats why I am going early because everytime I get there they are sold out. I am always there well before kick off.

Agreed also. I am thinking maybe a rally monkey or tomahawk chop?

Are thunder sticks allowed? Man those things rock! Teal & Black thunder sticks would be great, but I am not sure  NFL allows them. I know MLB & NBA does.Teal & Black Thunder sticks....yaaaaaaaaaaaay!
Mike Hogan Destruction Eruption!

Well, we didn't do the job....

Well just got back home,,,Jags are a big disappointment this yr. Too many injuries and not enough play makers. That 2nd half was just pathetic. I wonder why the coaches think they can just run, run, run with the defense has the box stacked. The offense was just pittiful. This a bad Jaguar team 1 and 4 at home this yr. They played so well the 1st half,so what happen. I need a drink. :'(

I was at the game. All I can say is there goes the season. We will be lucky if we actually have a winning record this year. It's so depressing and such a let-down after the run we had last season. All of the off-season aqusitions have been major disappointments (Jerry Porter, Derrick Harvey, Quentin Groves, Drayton Florance).  >:(

Cmon, don't call Harvey and Groves major disappointments. I'm not exactly sure what your expectations were for rookie DEs.

Porter is my biggest disappointment, cause I was actually quite happy when we signed him. I thought he was a spark plug and a missing link. I know he was hampered by the injury, but man, he's had enough time to get back and as far as I know the injury wasn't to his hands or his hand-eye coordination.

Florence is the worst acquisition of the group, and perhaps the most disappointing for the front office, but I was personally skeptical of him from the start.

Anyway, i think we're all agreed that this season has been a disappointment overall. And as it is right now, I'll be proud of an 8-8 finish. Barring a major turnaround in our play (or a collapse by our future opponents), I don't think we'll be favored in any of our remaining games.

Agreed look at the Jags remaining schedule, find a win!!!!

But when we invest our whole draft in two underperforming DEs it's a big let-down. Especially when we sell the farm to move up in the draft to select one of them. And for what? I think one sack between the two of them all season. A lot of rookie defensive ends have great rookie years, so I'm not cutting them any slack because they are rookies. It would be different if they were QBs, but DE is one of the easiest for a rookie. Heck I believe Javon Kearse had about 14 sacks his rookie year.

It is time to face facts... Garrard is mediocre at best.  Fred Taylor should have retired last year or the Jags should have cut him.  The recieving corps and O line are awful.  Shack Harris needs to go and get a real personel person in here.
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Actually, rookie defensive ends have difficult transitions. Kearse and Julius Peppers are two of the few exceptions. Look at Mario Williams. People called him a bust his rookie year and now he is among the best ends in the league.

Hard to find open receivers when you are laying on your back...
